We had a few more inches of snow a couple days ago, so here's a vid to try to capture the fun.

And a note to those of you who post music with their vids: You Tube recently removed a couple of my vids because of copyright issues. Oops. I hadn't considered that. I was able to save one of them (King of the Mountain) by replacing the music with one of their free suggestions. If you post vids with music, you might think about checking out their free choices or risk my fate!

Ha ha. The bane of my existence. That one was Jack, and his ankles are so tiny that he often loses them along the way. I'm working with a friend to make some custom booties that work like a harness and wrap around his body. I'm not confident it will work, but at this point I'll try anything.

Eddie's usually stay on pretty well.

Thanks for the comments, you guys! I got lucky with that "free" song. I liked it and it fit.

lol i knew that was Jack.. lol.. i was saying Jack in my head and wrote Eddie...

Yea, Jack only had shoes on his front paws at the end, too.

But I LOVED your video! Jack is so adorable!! I think it's way too cold for him in Alaska, you should bring him here to Florida! I'll make sure he stays warm! :p

Don't feel bad. I do the same thing about 10 times a day, calling Eddie "Rusty" and Jack "Eddie". I now understand my Dad's confusion over having six kids.

Aw! what a cute video! I hope when we get snow that my Oreo likes it! and love the captions they made me laugh and fit perfectly! I need to get my pup some boots and a jacket they are just to cute!

Thanks. Be sure to post pics of your pup when you get snow! I just realized I misspelled poo in the first caption. How can you misspell a three-letter word? I'm losing it.

Lol, that is so cute, seeing them come down the slide was hilarious. Joey is such a wimp compared to your boys, 70 degrees and he's shivering.

Sorry to hear about that music rule, I thought if we owned the music, we could use it. Where do you find music you can use?

The only way I've found so far is to edit video, then click Audio Swap. It gives you a list of music you can use for free. But be careful, it wipes out all previous audio on your video, so if you had any talking or other legal sounds, it will wipe them out too.

I'm going to hunt around and see if there's some free "legal" music sites anywhere. I'll let you know if I come up with anything.

Oh your guys always look like they're having a riot. I love the great ball hunt. We had similar difficulties on our walk today -- but it was because of all the long summer grass :P

Now that we're down to a year away from the BIG MOVE I'm starting to wonder how D&D will go with snow for the first time. But I can't wait to see Dixie chase a squirrel!

That Eddie is so dapper in his coat - and Jack doesn't think he's a day over 3 does he?

Summer grass? Ahhh, so long ago. Have your two ever seen the snow? I'll bet they'll love it. They'll be jumping over snowmen.

They've never seen snow. There was snow on the hills in the distance over winter, does that count? :p

LOL, no! You should drive up there next winter and let them play!

I would mail you a squirrel, but I'd probably be arrested for illegally sending wildlife through the mails.

You should see what dixie does to the little toy squirrels I have! Also I think the Biosecurity dept will frown upon a squirrel parcel.

The music was PERFECT! I laughed out loud at their antics.

For their boots...when I was a kid, in Pa, they had things to clip mittens onto our jackets. It was a piece of ~1.5" elastic with a clip on each end.

Poor little Eddie's tooshie was IN THE SNOW while he was trying to do his business!!!! LOL! Too cute....I was giggling too by the end. I'll have to show my bf this. He lived in Alaska the last 2 yrs of high school and still goes home (to AK) every Christmas to visit his parents, and summer's sometimes too. He'll get a kick out of it!

omg where have i been? Under a rock??? How can i miss a jack and eddie video that was posted 4 days ago!!!!!! i LOVE their videos!! I must say i had Pasquale on my lap while we watched your video...and he got excited when Rusty made an appearance LoL..he loves the bigger dogs!!
