Here's a quick video taken during our record storm yesterday, the largest on record after April 1. Haven't seen the final tally, but I'm guessing 14-15" in town.

Wow! I like snow. We didn't have much snow this year, but it is probably a pain to have snow the end of April. Does it ever snow in May in Alaska?

Just say no to snow. It was 90 here today....and everyone went boat riding.

Supposedly, it can snow all 12 months here, but this is the latest I've seen it in my 20 years here. Well, the latest significant snowfall.

Wow, Mike, after seeing that I don't feel so bad about our rain/sleet/snow showers for Monday and Tuesday. I did hear a freighter leaving port while we were having supper tonight. It's good to have my lake "alive" again. It was a long winter.

I always wanted to live in Alaska, I hate the heat and humidity of the summer!

I think I'll stay in PA. I don't think I would like snow year round. I'll enjoy your videos instead.

Wow, and here I am sitting in my bedroom with the air conditioner on and to watch this its like something you videoed in December and just now showing it.

Please take a head count before you close the door this is not a good time to leave anyone outside.....lol

Wow!!! I feel better about the couple inches we got here last night now

It has been many many many years since we've had a snowfall this late in April.

The snow is beautiful, but geez, aren't we all ready for it to be gone already??!!!

I remember a snowstorm in early May way back when here in upstate NY.

My mother woke me to say, "Snowday" and I was like yeah, right....

We had a freak 8"!!

I lived in Alaska back in the 70s when Eagle River was just a few houses on the hillside and you could walk down to the lake and ice skate. We had snow flurries in May while I was there -- but nothing like this.

Boy am I glad I live in California. It is 90+ here today and I turned on the air conditioner to cool the house down.

Loved seeing your video.
