We found a yorkie meetup group nearby, and we had a blast! There were more yorkies than I've ever seen in one location (except for at the Yorkie specialty show, of course!) Chloe had fun mingling with all the other yorkies OFF LEASH at a nice park in Fullerton, CA.

...and we even ran into another YT couple and their two yorkies (Cal and Cindy, and Lilo & Stitch).

A lot of the yorkies were in costume. It was so cute, there was Spiderman, Snow White, a princess, a pirate, and a scarecrow!

there was a meetup in so cal? aw i wish i knew about this... i would love to go to a meetup. sounds fun!

Though I know a lot of people don't see the messages in the CA forum too often.

I will probably go again next month. Maybe we'll run into you there next time.:thumbup: It really is a nice group! :)

What fun - glad you got to experience that! We just had one 2 weeks ago with 14 yorkies in attendance - I'm still on a high from it!

Isn't it fun to see how different all these furbabies can be?

Yeah, it was a ton of fun! I had been to 3 other meets, but we always had them in xpens. Chloe didn't do to well in the xpens and always kept jumping out of them. This one, everyone lets them run off leash. I was unsure at first, but they told me that they all seem to stick together and not run off. They did fine. I think the off leash thing works better for Chloe than the xpen, and she seemed more comfortable, and seemed to have more fun!! :thumbup: :D

aw the next meetup is on nov. 17th... i'll be up north for a wedding.... i would love to be there though... it would be nice for my babies to meet other yorkies =)

It looks like you had a really really great time there! I am so jealous at all these meet-up pics I see :( but I should try not to be.... Anyway, Ms. Chloe looked like a little social butterfly, and I loved all the costumes!

Awww...that's a shame :( . But you can always go to the one after that. :thumbup: The girl who runs it, Rae, is really nice, and she said they do them every month, usually on the 3rd Saturday, unless it falls on a holiday or something.
