Well, I'm down to 2 girls in the house.
 
Today, another one of my girls left for her forever home. I am very glad for the family that came and picked her up. They're in their 40s, no kids but have a 14 year old pom at home to be her big brother. Another one left yesterday to her forever home. It is so sad when they leave. :( I've got the one that will fly to California on Wednesday and that will leave me with one girl that will go to her forever home next month. :(

Already, the house is much quieter than it use to be. Less poopie to pick up. :rolleyes: But I miss Rascal and Zoey so much! Hopefully, with each litter, it gets easier to let them go.

I asked my husband to drive me to the airport Wednesday but he has to work. Guinevere has always been my favorite so I know that I'm going to cry. :( Maybe my mother-in-law can go with me.

I guess that I'm just feeling a little blue because I know that the inevitable is going to come when I will be puppiless. :(

I envy anyone that can breed for this very reason! I would fall in love and never be avble to let them go. You are a strong person and I am very sorry you are so sad! I hope someone can go with you on Wed.!

Oh wow you are so brave. I know how hard it is to say goodbye but I know you find great homes for them. I hope you get someone to go with you to the airport on Wed.

Even if I find very good new homes for my puppies , it is always difficult to see them go . I am always in contact with the new owners .

I'd be so sad too...I really don't know if I could do it when I got to one puppy left....Hope you find someone to be with you :) and you can always come here when you're missing your babies

Kimberley, you're exactly the kind of breeder that I would hope to get a pup from. We have so many great breeders on this forum. Maybe in the puppy package you send home you could include a card with the YT site address on it, give the new owners your screen name and ask them to PM you if they join. It'd be a great way to keep in touch with them cause most active people are on here every day. Sorry you're sad. It'll get easier.

It is hard to let go, empty puppy nests are not fun. Charlotte's two girls are 14 days today..the small one has eyeballs looking at me..the other one is still in her own little world.

I hope you find someone to go with you when you go to the airport!!!! I feel so bad for you, but on the other hand, you have giving someone else the joy and happiness of having one of your furbabies for ever!!!!!!! What a wonderful thing!!!! And there was an idea posted earlier about putting YT info in their care packages, what a wonderful way for you to see those babies grow!!! You have all of us to help things be easier for you!!!! ;)

I must admit, after I posted this, I cried! :( Gosh, I'm such a big baby!!! :rolleyes: I've already called them and she told me that they will e-mail me picts. Took her shopping to petsmart and got her a bed, pillow, blanket, toys, and a rhinestone harness! She's already met her big brother...which he pouted and hid in the closet! :D Anyway, she told me that I could call her anytime...I told her thank you and I plan on it...I don't think she knows what she's offered me!!! :cool:

I envy you and all the other breeders for having the strength, courage and patience that you guys have.
I would cry too if I were you! I would probably fall in love with all of them and would want to keep them all! haha

Okay-- I think I just cried for you!!!! hehe 2nd time today!!! I did one of my clients hair today that I just adore for her wedding and I was balling!!! So it may be hormones, but I am full of tears just thinking about you!!! How great that they will email you pics of your/their baby!!!!! How wonderful!!!!! :)

Ok, now you got me crying! hehe. I am so sad that your home is quieter but very happy that each one will be so spoiled and loved. I know that you picked the very best homes possible! Now I'm wondering how my breeder felt when I brought Lily home.
