Heres a pic of Toby when he was sick in June. Almost lost him that month. Turning 16 October 8th.

So glad to hear that Toby is on the mend - he will certainly be enjoying his 16th!! Barkday...how exciting and you are so lucky to have him in your life these past 16 years.:D

Awwww, even not feeling well he still looks like a sweetie. I'm glad he's feeling better (I assume) and hope he stays that way for a long time to come.
16 years, way to go Toby!

He is doing great. As I posted earlier on a different thread. He is going deaf. Pretty much have to yell. I'm trying to find a way to put a collar on him and attach a hearing aid. He also has cataracts. I have been in contact with my vet about getting some drops that can break away the cataracts. He is unsure if it will work but we are going to try.

He is so tough its unbelievable. He was attacked my 2 boxers when he was young. 40 stitches on his leg. Was walking the next day. Has had stones and operated, home 8 hours later. Why I'm so worried about his sight (of course anyone would be), is last week he fell off my deck at the cottage and its 3 feet up! He never goes near the edge but this time he did. So he's not allowed outside at all now without supervision.

Glad to see that Toby is toughing it out. He sure has had his share hasn't he?
As a side note, I am a fellow Winnipegger who has two rough and tumble boyz (one who has had his fair share of health problems too)
