No, when I first was getting her I was wondering about her hair, so I talked to the vet and she recieved a gene where she's not going to grow a lot of hair. I forgot what the condition is called..it's basically a gene that hairless dogs have, but I guess yorkies can have it as well, but aren't bred for it.

Cute doggies!! Bella looks adorable with no hair..looks like she was meant to look that way!! Rocky loves swimming by the looks of things...soon it will be sweater weather and we will get to see some cute winter shots...

Thanks! I can't even picture her w/ hair! It's definitly easy when it comes to cleaning and grooming her!

What great pictures. Bella looks so cute. I love to watch them swim. Now all as we have to look forward to is the cold & snow. So will we see some pictures of them playing in the snow.

Probably just Rocky in the snow...unless I can find a full snow suit for Bella!

There is a lady in my bf's building that her little one does not grow hair much, it's very very short but her dog is also mixed with yorkie and something else and the momma's hair is short too so i think that's why. But it grows shorter on the booty, which i never saw before

Yeah, we got her in the beginning of the summer..I posted some pics when we first got her, and when she was a baby, but my camera was sent in twice this summer, so I wasn't able to get many pictures :(

Bella has a lot of hair around her muzzle, on her chest (she still has a white diamond on her chest, I thought that would've faded by now), her legs are a little hairy, and her neck. Her back has the least, like you can see her skin underneith it and it's very short. With all the places she DOES have hair, I kinda think maybe she was supposed to be a harry man? LOL

Aww congratulations! I guess i missed that thread. Yea the lady in the building, her dogs hair is wirey. She is so cute though, very small and friendly. I guess it grows differently on diff. parts of her body, it grows very slow. You can see the skin underneath also with her. I wonder what that's called.

Yeah Bella's hair is kind of wirery as well. I forgot what it's called, but next time I go to the vet I'll ask. He wrote the term down for me, but I lost the paper.
