nuggets 1st trip to the park!

yesterday my girlfriend and i took nugget to the park for the first time! we had such a great time. when we got there we put him on a leash to make sure he wasnt going to escape. he was being so good. he ran around with us for a good half an hour following me where ever i went. Then we took him off the leash and he stayed with us the whole time... till 3 joggers passed and he dashed in the opposite direction chasing them :eek: ! I think nugget was pretty tuckered out after all this running around cause we went and sat by the river and he fell right to sleep in kendras arms! all and all the 3 of us had a great time and nugget did very good for his first trip to the park! i was suprised at how attentive he was and how well he stayed with us! here are some pictures to go with the story! enjoy :)

Well, it looks like someone had a really big day. These little guys just love to run and play, I wish I had just some of their energy.

Awe, so sweet!! Im glad you all had a great time!! I just loving taking the pups to the park... I just get a "little" nervous when we see big dogs... Cause my furbabies think they are just as big..

Those pictures are sooooo cute! Especially the last one, I think!

Nugget is an adorable name for a yorkie and he sure is a heartbreaker!

thanks you for all the great comments! i'm glad you guys like his name and yes, he loves to pose, but most of the time he moves right before i get to snap the pic! hehe, anyways... have a nice weekend everyone

Oh he is so kissable cute ! You might want to think about getting him a harness.
Mya is so strong now for under 3 1/2 lbs. I think the harness is good to so that she does not hurt thier neck. Also if your really have to , like if a mean dog runs up, you can pull your lil guy up by the leash. Mya wears a kitten harness still.

thank you all for your comments! i'm so glad everyone likes him! everywhere we go people come running up to pet and hold him...

red98vett: thank you so much for the picture! what program do you use? i really like to expirement in photoshop and image ready!

orinskye: i was scared at first that he might try to swim and i'd have to jump in the muddy water after him! i can't wait until we teach him to swim though! do yorkies naturally know how to swim?

mya's_mom: yes, the breeder we got nugget from said to get a harness and we are going too, we just havent found one that fits right yet! we wernt even planning on using the leash with the coller but it was such a nice day and he loved it! most of the time he wasnt even on the leash, he just folloed us where ever we went! hes such a good lil pup. thank you for your suggestion! :D

I have those programs too..and since I have no patience to learn how to read alien code - I found a EASY program called Frame show ...I posted the Link in Fun Stuff on this site...I use others - but I have a time limit on this one and am just using it as much as I can...

well let me know if you ever want to try something in photoshop! its such a powerful program and you can find great tutorials on the internet... thats how i learned. image ready is a little bit more confusing though!

and you're right - Image Ready just added to my brain buzz ...I may come back to you for some links because I do have a full version 6.

thank you for the offer on psp9... but photoshop works great for all my needs! i'd be glad to show you how to do anything in photoshop though! i crop and resize all my pictures in photoshop and i also make all my own avatars and animated gifs with it. and believe it or not, i actually enjoy doing it :)

hmm, maybe i'll make a post today or tomorrow on how to resize and crop with photoshop! ;)
