Discovered Our Voice Today
 
Preslee discovered that she has a voice today. And she has been making it known. She was sitting in the spare room with my while I was putting laundry away and Memphis was sitting on the futon. She wanted up there so she went....... Grrrrr....ruff........ Both memphis and I jumped. LOL, then I bent over and picked her up and she covered me in kisses. Tilted her head back and barked again. Now whenever Memphis is out of her reach she barks at him. He gets that "yes dear" look on his face and jumps down by her and she jumps all over him kissing him all over. LOL :)

Uh oh, sounds like she's gonna know EXACTLY what to do to get what she wants now, well, even more than she did before. That's so cute though, that she learned it, and sweet she got kisses as a reward. ;)

i just love the little puppy growls and sounds! Preslee sounds soooo cute.

Thats cute! Chloe loves to play growl. Its the weirdest noice I have ever heard. Do all yorkies make that weird playful growling noise?

I think so.. Ellie Mae is my little talker.. When she wants something she does this little whimper, growl thing. It is so cute. She will carry on as long as I keep talking to her as well. Funny puppies.

Olivia is quite the talker! Do something she doesn't like (i.e. climb over the gate without her) and she lets you know! She does this really cute bark that I can only describe as a baby dinosaur noise. I love it! I always try to mimic the sound when she does it and that usually gets her to do it at least once more. I love her bark and growl, but I'm trying not to encourage it too much so she doesn't become a yippy adult. If you play tug-o-war with her, she growls and I swear she thinks she's a 100 lb. pit bull or something!

That is the noise the Preslee made, i didn't know how to explain it.

I remember when Maggie learned to bark. Now when she barks, she actually jumps backward about a foot. I told her I was going to attach a safety back up beeper on her butt. :p

Preslee goes in a half circle when she growls and does a little bunny hop when she barks. Its so cute. LOL
