My Little Senior Rescue Girl

Foxy is a rescue Pom I got in March. Her owner was shoveling snow and had a heart attack and since she is a senior(she is 10), she was taken to the shelter and I went and got her ;) She has been miserable this summer with her hair I took her in today and we are going to start fresh with her too. The Groomer said she had was a show quality Pom and hence the HUGE coat. but not now...she is prancing all over now and acting like a young dog again. It is so cute. I have to get a new collar for her too..the old one came with her and it is shot anyway. Meet Foxy

Congratulations! Foxy is beautiful - she looks like a puppy with her summer 'do:)

My sister has a white pom and the breeder she got him from had several of the red poms. They are soooo pretty.

she looks so different after the haircut but still, beautiful. so glad you got her from the shelter :)

What a beautiful Pom. She does not look 10 years old. She looks like a young little pup. She is just too cute.

She's very lucky to have you!!! She's a pretty girl.. When I was little I had a pom that looked just like her... And her name was "Foxy"!!!!

Congratulations on your senior beauty. Charlie was adopted from UYR in April and he is also 10. She will feel so much cooler and able to show off her new collar. So sorry to hear about her other parent, but so glad she found a good home and someone to love her again.

What a cutie. Maya is my 10 year old pom who had a massive coat and I always wondered if you could shave a Pom down and what they would look like. She looks adorable. Maya has lost a lot of haot due to Cushings disease and I may have her shaved down now. Thanks for posting
