Lily's First Haircut 4 Attachment(s) Lily is 8 months old and I brought her in for her first haircut. I was a little apprehensive at first, because I didn't know if she'd come back bald. But I brought a picture and wrote down what I wanted done (Thanks to all the discussion about summer cuts.) You gotta love the shake out at the end....LOL |

Thanks everyone for your sweet words. I can't tell you how helpful it was to come here and read everyone's posts and look at all the cute cuts.. I usually just lurk, and have gotten so much great information....I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep her long or go short for the summer, so I opted to cut her face shorter and leave her body a little longer. I left her top knot. I was almost going to go with bangs, and then chickened out. LOL.. |
i love it.she so gorgeous.. |
She looks wonderful :) :) :) :) I just tried my first try at trimming my lil one today...just took a bit off her ears and under her chin...cut her nails a bit...and figured that was enough for this novice and my first try with grooming her ...:D |

Thanks again everybody. :heart to Just a quick question while I have a post going already. I weighed Lily today and she weighs 3 lbs. 14 oz. She's 8 months old. When are yorkies considered to be full grown? And when do they develop their adult coloring? I like her coloring now, but know that they can change so much. I know there are several threads and charts on the subject, but thought someone might be able to give me a quick answer. Thanks in advance!! |
