OMG I shaved her!!!! 4 Attachment(s) I asked you guys for help getting those matts out...I tried everything, I swear! Her coat is horrible and it just kept getting worse! I decided to start over....When she came out with the groomer, I almost didn't know if it was my dog or not! Then I couldn't stop laughing! She is tooooo cute!!! But very COLD!:p |
1 Attachment(s) This is her fur just 3 days ago  She was a big puff ball! |
She is such a cutie pie!!! Her hair will grow back in...Better than ever :) I like that you kept the hair around her face. |
Awww she looks so cute! I had to do the same thing with Maddie. Her hair didn't lay flat like Wesley's it just grew out away from her body. She was a little round fluff too. She would get matts down to her skin. I tried and tried to pick out the matts, but there were too many and they kept coming back. So we had her shaved. I was shocked when I first saw her. After that, I would get her shaved about ever 8-10 weeks. Now she is 17 months and her hair is completely different. It lays flatter now. She hasn't had a cut for over 10 weeks and she doesn't have any matts right now. Her next grooming appt. is going to just be a bath. I'm going to try growing her hair out again. Hopefully it works.... Here is a picture of her soon after her first shave.... |
She is adorable shaved! When her fur grows back are you going to keep it short or full length? |
1 Attachment(s) Oops, here's her pic... |
HAHAHA!! Her head looks huge!! I think she's cute! |
Aww she is still adorable. Put a dress on her, no one will know:D . In the 3rd pic they look like they are laughing at her. |
Shaved or not, she is definitely a cutie pie. She is beautiful! I love the pics! |
Naked She is just too cute. Put some clothes on that little one she is naked and must be freezing. I usually have Bella cut short for the summer as it easier for me to keep up and easier on her as well. Jay :D |
I had grayson shaved down to his matts up really bad even with 2x a brushings I took him down and am starting over. |
Oh my, lol, she does look cute, and she'll be nice and cool for the summer. :D |
She looks like a darling baby lion...what a face:p |
1 Attachment(s) LOL U crack me up! U sound like me take a look @ Tiffanie's legs!!!!! I tried to trim her up for the babies and she had some matts on her legs where she nawls (Spelling there!) at her legs, (She's a SILKY Yorkie too!!!!! Not suppose to matt that bad, well let me tell U paws do on them!!!!) why she does it I don't know, well I the more I tried to fix it the more she moved and well there went gaps and gaps on all 4's and well the photo will tell the story!!!!! LOL!!!! But I thought I'm not shaving all her hair off so I trimmed her sides down, EVERYONE makes fun of me when they see her I just say her Groomer did it!!!!!!! LOL! They just don't know that groomer is me!!!!! LOL!!!! So honey don't feel lonely!!! I will tell U tho that Teddy's hair is long but it seems like it went through a stage that it just matted and matted, but once we got through that stage NOW it's nothing to brush out which I have a C & C brush too and that helps so much. He had to be shaved down too and I just about died when he came back from the real groomers (not me!)!!! But after that it's grown and grown. I do have trouble with his bangs, head hair...I can't keep a ponytail in it he won't leave it there, pulls, tugs, rolls till it comes out and it gets so matted and tangled and now breaking from hangin' in his face yep it covers his eyes too so I told him something's got to be done with it so I can keep his eyes opened and not covered!!!!! I'm gonna put a post on about it to see if I can get help for him in the grooming section. Her hair will come back! Hugs, Lee & Babies |
She looks like she's got stockings on!!! It probably cuts down on grass and dirt and stuff she brings in from outside on her feet!! |
