Layla in her new pool WITH her soccer ball!!

Layla got a new pool this weekend and with the temps being over 30 (90+) today was the day to try it out... of course she had to bring her soccer ball with her. The pool barely has any water in it... we are going to try and do this gradually as Layla is not too fond of swimming! but by the end of summer i hope she will be!!! She has a leash on because our backyard is not completely fenced in :(

Oh what wonderful pictures:p , Tinker said she will join you in the pool with all the hot weather we have had over here in florida and were still on water restrictions:( :mad:

Bailey was sitting on my lap while we was on YT and I was like "Look Bailey lets click on here and see Layla in the pool" Then Bailey got HAPPYYYYY :eek: because Lalya was SKINNY DIPPING!!!!!! :dribble: :laugh: Layla is too cute!! You gotta find a cute swim suit for her new pool :D

aaww thanks!there is this TOO cute bikini at PetSmart.. my mom thought that was "a bit much" i think i might have to get it ;)

SOOOO CUTE!!!

I talked to my hubby about getting just a little plastic one for our girls.. and just like a man, he said I dont think so..... I said well its just a little plastic one and it only costs about 10 bucks. So I think if I keep asking he will give in. I hope so cuz if not, Im just gonna go get it anyway...HEHEHEHE

Now I'm hooked on getting Zada and Azrael another pool and start doing the little water at a time thing. :D Wow 90+ is unusual for Canada this time of the year isn't it? Were still very chilly down here on the central CA. coast.

I was going to comment about the pool having NO water as I clicked on the pics before reading on :)

It must be so exciting for the little athlete to try and see if swimming will be another sport she will be good at.

What a great idea getting her used to the pool slowly. Be sure to take more pics as the summer progresses.

She's always practicing for the soccer team! Since Sukoshi is a YT Soccer Cheerleader, she says "Gooooooooooooo Layla". Keep practicin' like that and the boys don't stand a chance!

I got Sukoshi a bikini from PetSmart. The top piece just looks like a little tube top - pink plaid. And the bottom piece is a skirt with a white waist with a pink bow on it, and a pink plaid skirt piece. It is soooooooooooo cute! Is that the one you saw for Layla?

That's so funny :) :) my husband is the one who wants one and I was the one holding back - Chanel loves the water so much I'd have a wet dog everyday lol

marcerella02 She looks SO cute in her little pool - I may have to rethink my decision....That's really smart the way you're doing it ....and I DEF think a little bikinni would be fun ...:)

Is that a "blow-up" pool? I have considered one..... but didn't know how well it would hold up with dog nails ( even if they are trimmed). A great idea starting her off just a little at a time.
I think I bought that same "bikini" for Shelby that has been described. (Tube top and skirt with bow) It is really cute AND I like the material..... it don't make a mess out of Shelby's hair.

well if i was living in Northern Ontario.. this would be VERY warm... but here in Southern Ontario temps get very high and it is very humid.. Layla and i were inside all day today except for our little dip in the pool... too hot for the little girl!!

and yes.. it is a blow up pool! i only got htat kind because i coudln't fit the hard plastic ones in my car!! plus she has a harder time jumping out... i can keep an eye on her better in here

and i think the bikini is on its way to our house soon :p thanks for the encouragement Ladies!!

GO LAYLA! Practicing her soccer in the pool too!! Bella just got a blow up pool too...maybe when we beat the boys in soccer we can start a water polo team:D

I have 2 blow up pools for my babies. One I keep in my dad's yard and the other on my patio. Their nails so far have not damaged the pools. But the pools are so cheap that even if they did, it wouldn't be a big deal. :D
