Daughter took off markings!!! OH NO!! My 6 year old daughter silently crept into my bedroom and slinked over to where all my babies were sleeping and DELIBERATELY took off their colored markers! How am I going to know who is who, and who weighs what and how much they gained... I guess I gotta start from the beginning...  Should have had 6 yorkies and 2 kids instead of the other way around! :p |
Sell the kids ....keep the dogs!! Just kidding! :D |
Oh no! You poor thing! My breeder used nailpolish on their toe nails. I was making fun because I had a boy, but now I see why! Hope you get it all straightened out. |
It's kinda funny really, but I can understand your frustration, LOL! ;) |
What? sell the kids...hmmm..sell the kids...if I didn't sell my oldest daughter for cutting all the heads off my pictures to do a school project of a family tree, or sell my youngest for pretending to be Picasso on the living room tile, (need I go on...she even drew on Chloe's stomach once) :p A woman goes to the chiropractor because her back hurt so much. While the dr examines her, she says her back hurts from doing it "doggy style". Well, he says, there are other positions, you know". "I know," she answers, "but my dog has bad breath!" Gotta keep the sense of humour or take prozac at least! Keep writing... :lol tears |
Great Idea!! Teri What a great idea! I was so afraid of putting something around their neck anyway :omg: (you can see the material unraveling in the pics in photo gallery) I will only paint the 2 tiny ones anyway :lightbulb Thanks again! |

lmao!!! :D :D |
pups I guess I am lucky..by day 2 I can tell each one apart. They always have something a little different about them..shape of head or muzzle, a blaze etc..as long as they are all growing, I am not concerned and by 4 weeks they are very different to me. Good luck |
I'm sorry, but I read your post and that is sooooo funny! I can just see her sneaking in and doing that! Maybe she just can't bear to see them go. BLess her little heart - she was gonna fix it for sure. Ha Ha. Can not imagine how you tell the little darlings apart though! Sorting them out - good luck! sabrina'smom |
This is too funny, I too imagine your daugther sneaking in your room and taking the markings. Well she is only 6 so you can be too mad at her, well you shouldnt. I have a 4 yr old and I know how hard it is. I also have a picasso in my daugther, you se my walls. lol. |

Aren't kids FUN ? the little stinker... :D you now have a great yorkie story of her very own for her when she's older...too funny ! |
Colorful puppies Thanks for all the great advice...in the end I painted with nail polish on their paws (only the three smallest ones) The larger ones are 11.5 ounces, 10.5 ounces and 9.5 ounces (at nine days) and the smaller ones are a little over 6.5 ounces. You can really see the differences in their size...I also took the advice to seperate the bigger ones for 15 minutes to let the little ones feed in peace-great idea!! keep the info coming in, it helps me so much, you all do!! Thanks again.. |
Ok, maybe this is a really dumb question, but don't the dogs have names? So when you call one it will come? Or did I miss something? EDIT because you wrote an answer: Oh I DID miss something, they were puppies! LOL - now I understand you perfectly! |
 Poor babies .... having an "identity crisis" at such a young age!! :) I can't imagine caring for that many Yorkie babies ... and you have to tell them apart too!! Your daughter reminds me of a sign that my sister had posted in the reception area of her tanning salon: "All unattended children will be sold as slaves!!" ;) |
