Several Sukoshi Pics 4 Attachment(s) I finally uploaded all the pics off my digital camera (it had been awhile), so here are a few of the ones I had of my baby Sukoshi on there (really, the whole memory card was full of Sukoshi pics!!!). These were all taken during April and May. I hope you enjoy her pics as much as I do! First up – Sukoshi’s grandma (my mom) came into town and brought the fur-grandbaby (her ONLY grandbaby) some little outfits. Sukoshi’s modeling them each below… |
4 Attachment(s) 1. Here’s Sukoshi after one of her weekly baths. 2. And here she is just a few minutes later after her blow dry. 3. Then she wanted to model one of her knew top knot bows (ok – so that was my doing, not hers. Truth be told, she HATES top knot bows and had this little clip out just a couple minutes after the pic was taken). 4. And then she wanted to model her new 3-piece outfit we picked up from the Anaheim Farmer’s Market. It included a matching harness, hat, and leash, all in a pink and brown Hawaiian print. (Ok, ok – so she didn’t want me to post this picture because she doesn’t think it’s very flattering to her adorable face, but just look at that smile. Mommy couldn’t resist!) |
4 Attachment(s) 1. Then, my normally angelic baby surprised me with her evil twin one day when I got home from work, and I captured that twin in the snapshot below. Sukoshi used to play with her pads when she was younger, so I’ve kept them in a potty pad holder ever since then. Well, I wondered one day if she’d outgrown that stage yet, and I left the pad loose on the floor of her bedroom all day. It looks like I got my answer… 2. And here she is modeling her ducky PJs. 3. And her polka dot dress we picked up from the OC Marketplace in Costa Mesa. (There’s a little rhinestone flower on the back of it). 4. And last, but certainly not least, here she is wearing her new harness we got in the mail yesterday from YT member Shadow (waggiewonders.com), and you can see she’s tuckered out from modeling her new harness for me (you can see her “posing” in her new harness at http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80006). |

Lil Diva Hi Lisa, She is way too cute and looks pretty in everything she wears. How did you pick her name? Have you started a scrapbook for her already?? |
OMG! Your little Sukoshi is soooo cute I could just "skosh" her! I think she is just sooooo talented to be able to reduce a pee pad into home-made snow.....:yelrotflm clever girl!!! Her name is pronounced Sko-she (with a long o and long e), and it means "little" in Japanese. My mom lived in Okinawa when she was little because my grandpa was in the US Air Force, and he was stationed there. While there, they got a Pomeranian they named Skoshie (they spelled it like it sounds instead of the true Japanese spelling), and I've always loved that name since I've heard my mom's stories of that little dog. Also, my husband is very into the Japanese import performance car market, so he's all for anything Japanese related...so..."Sukoshi" seemed the perfect choice for our new, tiny baby girl. She was 1 pound, 15 ounces when we got her on December 1, and she's up to 3 pounds, 1 ounce now. And yes...I bought a scrapbook for her not long after getting her, but I hadn't actually started it yet (story of my life - have all the products, embellishments, etc. for several different scrapbooks, and I've yet to actually put any of them together - grrrrrrr - procrastination!!!), and then my best friend gave me a scrapbook for Sukoshi for my birthday, and she'd already put together page 2 & 3 in it (see pic below). It is so beautiful that now I'm motivated to keep up with it...but we'll see if that happens! I'm horrible with taking tons of digital pics, and then NEVER printing anything out! |
