Now & Then Hey everyone! I thought it would be fun to see pictures of your yorkies as puppies and as adults. I don't have any pictures to share yet since both of mine are still babies. Please also note any dramatic changes to their coat/color/markings/temperament/size/etc. For example, Bubba (made up) had a blue coat at 12 weeks that turned into a silver coat at 8 months. |
3 Attachment(s) Here is Chewy, first as a puppy, then the next two are at a litlle over a year. It's amazing how his coloring has changed. At first it I didn't want it to change, because I love the black and tan. Now I really love the silver. Yorkies are beautiful whatever color they are!:) |

Luckily, I have framed photos of the "Baby Ozzie" or I might not know where to begin to look. 1) Ozzie in October 1997, right around 4 weeks after we brought him home at 11 weeks ... 2) Ozzie at Christmas 1998, right at 18 mos. old. 3) Last two shots are VERY recent. He will be 10 next month! I had forgotten how much white he used to have on him. Mostly, it has turned a reddish, golden carmel color. His black (and his coat was once JET black) has been graying since he was about a year old. He still hasn't gone mostly silver, but his body is starting to turn and face colors are fading. |
3 Attachment(s) This is Hannah at 12 weeks, and then at 7 months, and now at 7 1/2 months old (with her brother Bentley who is 14 weeks old). I gave her a short puppy cut at 5 months. I think her hair would be so long now if I had not cut it. Her hair is so silky now and the black is fading to the silvery blue. |
