How old is she? She's so tiny to have such nice fur! I'm having the hardest time trying to tame Roo's hair but I've given up I think she'll just have to be a mess- but a cute mess=) Abigail is so adorable!

She is a little over 4 minths old born 1/5. Her dad has a gorgeous coat so I am hoping she takes after him. I did not see her mom. YIKES!! :eek: Yes I have a hard time taming Peanut's coat. I have tried to grow it out soo many times but I always give up. I guess I will try again with Abigail. I don't mind a "cute mess" though. :D

Aww four months so cute =) Has she started eating better yet? I took Roo to the vet yesterday and the vet actually said we should feed her wet food for a while because Roo needs to put on some weight and she doesn't eat her dry food very well- have you tried wet? Good luck!

My vet told me to feed her wet food 4 times a day and leave dry out all the time. Well I have not seen her touch the kibble, and I feed her 4 times a day but she barely touches it...even the A D that the vet gave me. I tried Gerbers baby chicken, cottage cheese, you name it! She will eat bolied chicken and turkey breast with some enthusiasm. She was weighed today at the vet (she got her last booster) and she weighs 1 pound 2 ounces. :eek: They seemed concerned which upset me of course. I am soo happy that she will eat the Nutrical. I declined to give her a Rabies vaccination per her breeders request. I was advised to wait due to her size, but my vet's office dissagreed and seemed unhappy with my decision. I left the vets office feeling like a bad person for adopting a tiny Yorkie. :confused: She was already in this world and I am more than happy to care for her. I just wish they would not judge that way.

OMG ok, first of all - I will NEVER get tired of looking at pictures of Abigail!! She is sooo dang CUTE!!! Her little puffy cheeks remind me sooo much of my Tatum's lol!!! Gosh she is just so super adorable and her harness dress by Des is PRECIOUS!! :D CONGRATS on your new baby girl!!! :cheer:

Aw, I'm sure both of them just want the best! Since she's so small a rabies shot might not be the best, but the vet is worried because if she gets outside and something bites her or something (God forbid!) then rabies is fatal. :eek: (Not that I want to put any negative thoughts in your mind!) As long as you keep her safe there should be no worries about this!


Abigail is sooo precious. I love it when Yorkies have the brown fur around their nose/mouth, it sort of looks like a little moustache haha.

Pam, your new baby yorkie girl is precious. :tinyheart :) I'm happy for you and your family. She does sound like a tiny little thing, but having you as her mom, she has such a head start to having the happy, healthy life that I know she will get. :) Keep us informed of her progress.
