Leave it-PROUDEST MOMMY IN CLASS TONIGHT
 
SO lexi is on her 6th week of class... this week we were instructed to tell them to sit and wait then call them... but, in between lexi and mommy the trainer put a big plate of hotdogs. WELL...lexi came right to me,"YEAH" she was the only one in the class that did it correctly out of 11 other puppies. :bravo: Can you imagine how proud i was of her?!! Another mommy of a golden retriever said, "WOW, look at lexi.. she showed up the whole class!" :yeahthat: Then we were told to sit the dogs then put a few peices of hot dog in front of them and tell them to "leave it" and walk away with our backs turned to the dogs. Only three out of the 11 got it and lexi was one of them. :happyboun I AM SO PROUD OF LEXI, she 's the only yorkie in the class and the smallest at 2.6 lbs. There are two poms in there then a bunch of mixed breeds all bigger she is in a mixed group class instead of a small breed class bc i wanted her to get used to bigger dogs. well she has SHOWED UP ALL THE BIG DOGS...GO YORKIES ha ha. :yorkietal :yorkiesar

I don't know why that's so special - it is no surprise to me that the yorkie was the best in class! :p

(I understand you completely - my yorkie did the same in training)

It still warms the heart! I'm so happy for you and lexi!!! Lexi has a good mama to teach her! Yay for Lexi!!!! :D

i know the feeling, Bailey just Graduated.. last week,,, he did SOOO much better in class than he does at home ... But it is a good feeling when they do good there,,does make ya proud!! ( of course he is ALWAYS good when treats are involved) ha

Yay, Lexi! :D Tatum also did great in class, showing up all the other dogs. We even won a prize at the last class because she was so good! The trainer was impressed and Mommy was so pleased and proud! No doubt Yorkies are so smart!

Thanks for all the encouragine words, I was just to pleased with her. :good job: She always gets a treat when we come home from class, thursday night is the night petsmart gets all my money but last night she got a little something special bc she did so well. We can't wait for daddy to come home today(AIR FORCE) so we can tell him. He has only been gone for a few days but we still can't wait to tell him the good news. Thank you all again. I am glad I have someone to share her accomplishments with. :)
