Maddie's going to be a Momma!
 

Hello All,
I haven't posted in a loooooooong time, so I'm not sure if any of you will remember me. I have two babies Maddie and Max. Max is pictured in the attachment.
So, Maddie and Max are going to be parents! This was not really planned on my part, but I did not get Maddie fixed, so here we are.
Also, I found out that my Maddie is not full blood Yorkie as her breeder told me she was and I am pretty sure that she is half Yorkie and half Schnauzer. I don't really mind that she is a mixed breed because she is such a sweet baby, but I do mind being lied to! But oh well.
Maddie doesn't have much longer to go. She is a big girl and weighs a whopping 11.2 pounds. I am excited if a little anxious about the blessed day. My vet said that he only felt one pup, which surprised me but I guess we will see. I suppose one or two could have been hiding. After Maddie has the pup or pups, I am getting her fixed. I don't know how I am going to do when it is time to find the pups new homes, but I guess we will cross that bridge when we come to it.

Anyone have any advice for me? I think it is pretty obvious from my post that I am excited although very anxious about my soon to be "Grandma" status....

Congratulations on your upcoming litter! Maddie looks all Yorkie to me, why do you think she's part Schnauzer? Did her breeder confirm this? Best wishes!

Max is the one in that attached picture. Maddie is pictured in my avatar but that was when she was a puppy. You couldn't tell then that she wasn't "full blood" other than her ears looked too big....but as she grew she just kept getting bigger and bigger and I could tell that she was mixed with something else. The reason I think she is part Schnauzer is because I saw some pics of "Schnorkies" in the paper and they are the picture of Maddie. She's probably twice as big as Max and her ears are much larger than his....she's long in the body as well.

I'm kind of interested to see what their pups are going to look like...I imagine they will be too adorable as Maddie is adorable (as is Max).
