My Hit Song Is Catching On I sing Stewie a song that I made up called "Who's Poochie Is This?"; I sing it ALLLLLL the time -- at least 30 times a day and my dad gets really pissed off telling me to knock it off (I sing it at the TOP of my lungs). Well, last night I was on the couch with the dog and my dad comes into the house; the dog jumps up and runs down the stairs to the door to greet him. My dad thought I had gone out 'cause it was Friday night and all the lights were off and the TV was very quiet. I hear him pick up Stewie and start singing my hit song "who's Poochie Is This?". I stifled my laugh, because I didn't want him to know I was listening. After he perfectly recites that song, he breaks into "Stewie, Stewie" (sung to the tune of the Kingsmen's oldie but goodie "Louie, Louie") I lost it and started laughing. My dad was toooooooo embarassed for words. I caught him ;) He loves his grandson. |
LOL, well now, where's the .mp3 of Kristy singing, huh? We want an autographed copy when you release the hit single too! C'mon now, if you want it to catch on, you've got to get your YorkieTalk friends hooked to it first! |
That is too cute Kristy |
now start calling him grandpa. LOL |
I love that!!! Thanks for sharing that story Kristy! |
;) I love that. Grandpa loves Stewie, thats so cute. :) |
That story was too cute!! I doubt very much that a time will go by that when I hear Louie Louie that I will not think of Stewie. I sing to my Teddy too and everybody here thinks I have a screw loose but it's very interesting to know that the songs maybe do rub off on those around us and I hope the day comes that I find some closet singers around my house as well. |
That is soooo cute! Stewie is a lucky boy!! ;) |
Now THAT was too cute for words ! I love that story |
That was the cutest story! I'm still smiling and I'm sure when I hear the song, Louie Louie, I'll think of Stewie! Your dad must be a fun guy! Thanks for sharing that story! |
That is a great story!!! I love it! I sing a song to Sophia that goes like this: "Sophia, Sophia, you are a naughty girl, you are a naughty, naughty, naughty, very naughty girl." It sounds mean, but you'd never know it because I sing it in a nice voice with almost a British accent or something. I sing it after she has been into something she shouldn't have or makes a mess somewhere. My three year old now sings it too. It is pretty cute!! Isn't it funny that we make up songs for our dogs??!! :teethysmi |
My dad can be fun, but sometimes he is just a typical man (PITA) ;) |
PITA, yep Kristy, aren't they all, aren't they all... |
Oh! That IS a moment to treasure, Kristy! |
How cute that made me laugh!!! I've never really thought about it but my fiance sings to our dogs too!!! He'd never admit it and doesn't think he's singing since he only repeats the dogs name over and over again. He says for Pochi: "Po-chi-chi, Po-chi-chi. Poch and a Poch and a Po-chi-chi" for Choppi: "Choppi, choppi, chop-pi-pi!" for Meeju: "Mee-ja-ju, Mee-ja-ju, meej and a meeja- Meeja-ju" he hasn't done one for Daisy yet...but I'm sure he will come up with something. hehe |
