CoCo (formally Rocha) is Home! Just wanted everyone to know that I flew to Kansas City, MO to pick up my little CoCo girl on Saturday. And because I'm technologically challenged, Patti is going to post pics for me so you can see what a little sweetie she is! Everything went very well picking her up on Saturday. One of the best parts of the whole experience was finally getting to meet Pam Hinkle, the breeder. I had been in contact with her everyday for the three weeks prior to getting CoCo but it was so wonderful to finally get to meet her face to face. She is TRULY a wonderful breeder and a wonderful person as well. I think I have found a forever friend through finding CoCo. The flight back home couldn't have been better. I kept CoCo in her carrier until after we took off but then snuck her under my coat for the duration of the flight. It was only about and hour and fifteen minutes but my little dumpling never let out a peep! She just stayed snuggled on my chest like a good little girl. She was perfect! The flight attendant knew that she was there but just sort of winked at me and looked the other way. Bless her heart! When we got home Biscuit and Muffin greeted her well. There was no aggression at all. I didn't know how they would react to her or what to expect. For the most part after the initial sniffing of the 'privates', the older two just kind of watched her while she explored the kitchen but then eventually ignored her. It took a few days for them to warm up to her but we had the best breakthrough this morning. Muffin and CoCo were just romping around and playing like they had known each other forever. It was heartwarming. CoCo is my shadow right now. She follows me everywhere I go. Pam said that she did the same thing to her as well. I don't mind it a bit! She and her sister Muffin are mommy's girls and Biscuit is daddy's boy. CoCo is all hair right now but underneath she is a very, very petite little girl. She's only 3 pounds and Muffin, who is 5 pounds, looks HUGE next to her! And I always thought Muffin was so tiny!! Thanks to this wonderful forum, I have found CoCo and I will always be grateful to this website and to all of you who have been so helpful to me with the raising of my furkids. Connie |
