Just a question Is it normal for dogs to chase their tails around... I was told that if they chase their tails around alot its a sign of worms.. I didn't hear this from a reliable source but i have noticed that Mocha chases her tail around ALOT! i think its so cute but is it normal?? |
Hmmm, I've never heard that before. I think when they drag their bottom they probably have worms, but not sure about chasing the tail. I think you are probably safe but I don't know for sure. |
I have never hear of that before. My parents Goldens chase their tale when they are playing sometimes. I have heard if they do it for hours and don't stop it is a obsessive compulsive thing. But if she only does it here and there I should think you are safe, maybe. |
Yeah thanks.. I'm not too worried but she does do it alot.. She'll get dizzy and walk right into the wall!! I think its cute.. I'm trying to get it on my video |
Maybe your bab is just full of "energy", but if you are not sure if it is worms, why not take a stool sample into the Vet? |
If you are worried about it start to distract her with toys or treats or something so that she gets out of the habit of doing it. Poor little thing, bonking her head. I would try to stop the behavior in case it gets worse... .just my two cents... hope it helps :) |
She always banging into things.. We were walking the other day and she ran straight into a metal lamppost!! It is funny but at the same time I worry she'll do some damage to herself.. I just called my grandmother who has a yorkie and she said it completely normal for animals to chase their tails and that her yorkie Ruby still does it... |
Luig does that sometimes too!!!!!! Its quite funny!!!! He even sometimes growls ans barks at it!!!! Its almost like when he puts his mind to something, thats it, he'll go at it til he gats it, but not this time!!!!! |
