Here is Lily at 15 week's old.She is such a little sweet heart.She is fully potty pad trained and weighs in at almost 2 pound's.She love's to play with the kid's and bark when the door bell ring's.

awwwwwwwwwwwww she is just so cute! I'm so happy for you!

Lillie barks when the door bell rings or even if she hears a door bell on TV, she will start barking and run to the door LOL

I know you will love her forever and she is so very lucky!

Maddie's like Missy's Lillie...she barks when a doorbell rings on TV too! Our doorbell isn't even working, but I guess she remembers when it did! LOL

When your baby has an accident soak some of it on a paper towel and rub it on the potty pad so she can smell it. When she has her next accident don't punish her, but in a low voice say no and pick her up and sit her on the potty pad and say "go potty". This technique has worked for both of my babies and they are fully housebroken and my 2nd baby is on 4 months old. They are so eager to please you, but you have to be persistant and patient. Mine started showing good results at about 12 weeks.

Well i got Lily from a great breeder and she was allready "allmost" trained.Make sure that you lay the pad down in the spot's where your's likes to go,also keeping them confined to an x-pen or crate is also very helpful.I know most people say that you should have a small crate that they cant do much in but i did the opposite.I got a very large crate.It is big enough for her,her bed,food and a potty pad.She picked up very fast that she need's to go to her crate to potty.I also never take my eye of her.Also make sure that about 15 to 20min's after a meal they need to go potty.Also taking them to the potty pad about every 30min's or so to pee,they will catch on fast.My lily learned fast that when she was put to her pad that if she did not go she got locked into her crate till she did.She now goes when she need's to by her self.I also have another crate in the bedroom so if she's in either end she doesent have to go far.I was lucky she was very easy to train and has not had 1 accedent at all.Good luck!

I hope I dont sound arrogant!! But that is my little baby!!:D She is soooo stinking cute!! I am so happy she is doing so well for you. Glad the potty training went well. Thanks so much for keeping me updated on her and taking such good care of her!! My YT parents have just been awesome!!

Thank you both.Im surprised that i have any pic's to post of her.She is so fast and on the move all the time its hard to get a good pic of her unless someone hold's her and then she never wants to look at the camera.Stinker!

What a little sweetpea! She is beautiful and from her progress with training, also very smart! :) I miss Toto's little bitty voice ... she's three years and has a more mature sound now! ;)

My little babies are 9 weeks old today, and they are weighing in at around 1 1/2 pounds and almost 2 pounds....my vet said that they are too small and underweight! My vet said that we shouldn't even start with the pad training til they are much older because they will never get it this young! Sound's like your vet does not know to much about yorkie's?At 9 week's old those pup's weight is just fine.Potty pad training can start at any time.The sooner you do it the beter for you and your floor's.I say go for it and maybe consider finding a vet that know's more about the yorkie breed.Good luck!
