Hi and welcome to YT. Coco is beautiful. Please keep us updated on her condition. :) |
Welcome to YT!! Nice to see other South Floridians here!! I would definetely keep a close watch and keep the 24hour clinic number/info handy as most vets are not "on call" but there are quite few 24 hr clinics open in Miami. Who is your vet? Coco is beautiful!!! Sending prayers for a safe pregnancy and uneventful delivery!:aimeeyork |
2 Attachment(s) [F]Well, Coco is still a baby yes. before her pregnancy she was 4 pounds. And the daddy is a lot smaller than her, he barely weighs 3 pounds so the vet already said she should have the pups with no problems. Yes i had taken her to get an X-ray done but it was too soon, he only saw 5 dots, YES, 5DOTS... i really hope its not 5 pups because i will have a houseful as i plan on keeping all of them, LOL. Way it happened was i take care of the neighbors doggie when she goes away for up to 3 days and leaves him alone. So once Cocos heat passed (or so i thought) The incident happened..no i did not have her spayed obviously and i really dont like to get "egged" on it, i already have enough with thinking about how it was my fault in the first place. She is getting spayed right after this ordeal. Coco is due on the first week of January. I will keep everyone posted and so far i am very happy to say its been a "no-problem" pregnancy. Just so you can see, this picture is Coco and her babies daddy... Here you can truly see how small he is, they are both standing up in this one...See the difference??? Oh, and i always take her to Knowles animal clinic, its also 24 hours emergency so i live like 15 minutes away in case anything were to happen.[/FONT] |
Coco and the daddy are sooo gorgeous!!! Congratulations on the upcoming arrivals!! They will have such beautiful puppies!! Accidents happen, don't be too hard on yourself. You are doing all the right things and taking really good care of your baby. I hope the delivery goes well and she has no problems or complications with it. Wishing you the best of Luck!!  |
Well, Thank you very much Tracy...I really appreciate the nonjudgemental Thinking, i already have beat myself up enough for it, and i have thought of all the terrible outcomes, but i know my little girl and her babies will be just fineThank you once again. -- Yael. |
Yael, you shouldn't get 'edgged'. What happened did........and now just look at the wonderful future. You are going to be a grandma.......how exciting is that!!! I can't wait to see pics of the little one's with momma.......can't get enough of that. Hope you will keep us posted. I know you'll have an uneventful delivery.............much luck to you!! ;) Quote:

OMg...Thank you all for the wonderful words and god bless all the ones who decided to judge me about my baby being pregnant... Even though i clearly stated it was an accident. But well, what can we do...I will be here to love them all and they will be an addition to my family...They will all live with their momma...and me, gramma...lol. |
you asked us what to expect with this pregancy and we gave you some tips and advice which is what I am assuming you where asking for. If you feel like you were being judged I apoligize because that is not my intention, but if you are on this board long enough you will see that some people have no clue about breeding even when it is an accident. Some people really do need to be clued in to the dangers of puppies having puppies. Based on your FIRST post who's to know. We were just giving you heads up and some caution in case you didn't reallize it. A lot of people are still trying to figure out what to feed there dogs and health concerns and what not. All kinds of things! So like I said before your COCO is beautiful and I hope she has an easy pregnancy and her babies are happy and healthy. I would advise you to go to the breeders section for some wonderful tips and advise on what to expect good and bad so you are prepared on what to watch out for. God Bless Denesha |
I didn't see anyone being hard on you.....just people concerned with the welfare of your baby, which you should be thankful for. You say you know all the dangers...that's good. A lot of people don't, and YT members were just wanting to make sure that you're prepared to handle things if they don't go ideally. She's a very sweet baby. Good luck to her! (sorry Jackson's Mommy....we were posting at the same time! :p) |
i feel so sorry for her. she is so very young and little. i know the babies will be just darling. both of the parents are beautiful. please try and look for someone in your area that can help you out. you will need to have someone experienced with you so that you will know if she needs to go to the emergency hospital to deliver. we have had so many mommies and babies pass here recently and we dont want this to happen to you. good luck to you and welcome. keep us posted...please. again, they are very beautiful |
Good luck and congratulations on your upcoming litter. you sound like you are doing what is right now for your baby girl....which is ALL you can do now. Some people on here are harsh, be it out of concern or not, their I've found that while their intentions are good, some just dont have the best means of delivery. Be sure to post any questions and pics of the babies when they arrive. Kristie |

you say you have never been thru this and wanted some advise on what to expect.....well you got lots of advise to have emergency vet available, xrays, watch her, etc..... no one is being hard on you. it is a FACT she is too young to have babies (not that she couldn't ) but her body hasn't fully developed which could cause problems with the delivery. i am sure it has been done a million times but we dont want to put our mommies as risk. here at yt we like to see responsible breeding but we see "accidents" as well and try to help. we love our furbabies and want the best for them. take all this advise seriously b/c like i said before, we see too many mommies and babies not make it and we dont want this to happen to you. WE WISH YOU A SAFE AND HAPPY DELIVERY!!!! |
You sound prepared. Just wanted to wish you good luck. Both mom and dad are beautiful yorkies. The future pups are gonna be beautiful as well. Can't wait to see pictures. Carol & Buddy:aimeeyork |
Coco and the dad are just to cute. Hope Coco has an easy delivery and all the babies are ok. Take care |
Sugarbabydoll- Yeah, it shouldn't have happened, but it did. The the best you can do is prevent it from happening the same way again in the future, right? Right. SO, w/ that said, GOOD LUCK w/ the up coming litter! ;) And I must say that the sire of this litter looks like a total HAM-loads of fun! Don't get discouraged posting up here on YT. If you ask for advice this equals opinions also and just remember that we're all Yorkie lovers here and that can create for a "passionate" bunch! ;) There's more pros than cons to belong to a site like this, so I hope you keep your chin up and stick around, and POST PHOTOS OF MOMMA AND PUPPIES as soon as the special day comes! :D  :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork :aimeeyork |
