Sully & the birdcage (video) 3 Attachment(s) Do any of you have birds? I've never had a bird before, but my husband has always wanted one. Recently we rescued a 6yr old cockatiel named Brady. He was a 2nd grade classroom pet until the teacher retired. Long story, but now he lives with us! And we're having so much fun with him! Sully is usually REALLY good around the bird! But tonight, I must be honest here...we were getting him all excited. But it was so worth the cute video! ...and Brady (the bird) does not even seem bothered by Sully, haha! I own 2 Sun Conures. The dogs are always going crazy around the cage! lol! My birds don't seem to mind either. In fact my one bird will try to intimadate the dog by opening it's beak and acting as if it is going to bite the dog. lol! |

That is great!!!! When I was watching the video, Jaxon heard Sully growling and went to the window to investigate!!! I took Jaxon to this local petstore to buy food a couple of weeks ago and they have a ton of birds in there. He was SO interested in them and the birds were really checking him out too. Wish I'd had a camera. |

hahahahaha Sully needs to learn how to CHIRP !! that's soooo cute - I love how he's talking to the birdie but I have a feeling if he actually got ahold of him - it would NOT go well lol - Chanel has caught one in mid air and Cheri got one that fell out of the nest one day - I was right there in both cases but I won't tell you the outcome of the birdies...:( Sully - you look sooooo GQ in your sweater !!! |
Sully loves birds of all kinds Ahhh Sully is so cute. I wonder what he would do if he could touch the bird?? Scary thought. Val, I am so glad to see you posting again. I haven't seen you in awhile. 3 Attachment(s) I have a budgie currently. She is really tame and she flies all over my living room; mostly fly from her cage to the playgym. Her cage is high so that she can rest and have her own privacy when she wants to but her playgym is right by the couch. Siu Pao is pretty good and mellow. He never barks at her. He likes to go on the couch (always under my supervision though until he is older) and say hi to my little bird but she doesn't like it. She bit his nose many times. There were once when Siu Pao was sleeping on the floor, she flew down on the floor charging at him full speed and squawk at him-->I think she was jealous of all the attention he gets.Siu Pao woke up, stared at her and freaked out and ran away! He was scared of her!!! It was the funniest thing I have seen but it was too quick, I couldn't catch it on video. I don't have a picture of them together but here are some pictures of my little feisty birdie. |
I have 3 cockatiels and my bf has 2 budgies (parakeets) but they are mine too since we are the ones that feed them, not his sister. I have always had cockatiels growing up. My fav. one Sunshine talks and sings a lot. The first one I had when I was three did tons of talking, tricks, singing, everything. He was my all time fav. pet. I cried so much when he died. I will try to post pics...they are so fun though. If you train them well they can do lots of tricks. Your cockatiel is really cute. |
