My Baby 2 Attachment(s) Hello! I'm a mom for the first time and couldn't be more excited!! Here's some pictures of our baby Diesel! He's 1.8 pounds and 2 months old. :D |
:D he looks like a hand full very cute though. |
He is definitely a cutie! What a handsome boy, and congratulations on being a mom for the first time. |
Aww, he's waving to us in the second picture! :) Hi Diesel! My Yoda says "Hi!"and welcome to YorkieTalk! |
awww very cute |
Welcome to YorkieTalk, Diesel! You are a cutie-pie! I like the wave, too...... :) |
Welcome to YT, Diesel ... what a sweetie!! Looking forward to hearing all about you!! Puppy kisses from Toto!! ;) |
Thanks soooo much!! Diesel is excited that so many of you responded! :) xoxo Diesel's Mom & Dad ;) |
Diesel is lovely and looks full of mishcief! His ears are well upright!! What does he weigh and how old is he? Looking forward to hear a lot more of his adventures etc!! Ana xx |
awww Diesel is such a doll (and I love the name :) ) He´s the same age as Nita so you must be getting loads of action these days ;) Welcome to Yorkietalk :D |
Thanks! Yes he is very very very mischevious  !! He gets into EVERYTHING! He keeps us very busy (in a good way) ;) . He's very smart though so he's starting to get what "no" means. We've only had him for a week and a half so he's still adjusting to his new environment. You wouldn't know it though, he walks around like he owns the place! He's so cute it's hard to say no to him! Are yorkie pups ears not usually up like that?? Thanks for all your responses, I have a lot to learn and look forward to your help. |
I know what you mean, Nita is the same, how can you say no to them, Nita refuses to sleep in her basket, if she accidentally nods of there we are wakened up at 3am in the morning with crying wanting to get into bed, you can´t get angry when she looks at you with that face :p She bosses her big brother around wich is unbeliveable since he is alpha-male, if any other dogs tries this he goes mad ;). I dont know about the ears but Nitas ears are still down  |
Wow, that's so funny that he lets her boss him around, how cute!! I didn't realize that the ears don't just go like that naturally. But now that you mention it, I read somewhere that sometimes you have to tape them up. I wasn't sure what they were talking about. We only went to one place and all the pups had their ears up as well. How many pounds does Nita weigh? Is she a normal size Yorkie? When we got Diesel they told us he was a teacup. I've now learned there is no such thing. But part of the reason we got him was cause I wanted one that will be very small. They told us at max he would weight 5 pounds, but now I'm thinking they might have been wrong. |
Yeah I heard about taping the ears, but I´m keeping her ears trimmed to see if they won´t go up on their own, just thinking about taping them makes me cringe, she would not look at me for a month if I did that to her :p I´m not sure about her weight I think she´s about 1-1 and a half kg (2.2-3.3 pounds) but she might be a bit more she´s still got all her puppy fat on ;), she´s grown a lot since we got her (we got her when she was only 5-6 weeks old due to her mummy dying) I think the maximum weight is about 6 1/2 lb, it´s still small enough for me, Otto being such a "big" dog ;) |
Oh my goodness he is so adorable. He is about the same size as my girl Karma, who was about 1.8 at 8 weeks. Now at 12 weeks, she is almost 3 pounds, and expected to be about 6 at adult weight, according to something that I read saying to double the 12 week weight to get their adult weight. We were told Boomer was a teacup too, without knowing that there is no such thing, and if there was, they are just more susceptible to problems... Good luck with him, and just wait until he REALLY gets going :p Love from Karma and Boomer |
He is just so cute. You just have to love yorkie they are so cute I remeber when charlie was that little. You are going to love him so much. I know I do love mine so much. |
We are already so in love with him! My boyfriend got him for me as a b-day present and he doesn't even like small dogs. After having Diesel around he's hooked!! It's so funny when he holds him because he's this big guy, very muscular, and it looks so cute!! He loves him so much and we both go home at lunch cause we can't deal with being away from him for more than a few hours. Thanks again! xoxo - Elizabeth, Will & Diesel |
Elizabeth ... you mentioned in one post that Diesel already "walked around like he owned the place" ... do you mean he don't?! Toto let me know right away that she did "own the place"!! We believed her! Do you think she was bluffing?? I remember the "good old days" when my house was always in order, now there's toys everywhere, wee wee pads, 7 beds in every place Miss Prissy Paws may decide to nap, crates, every single activity planned "around" her ... and an X-pen in the corner of my dining room!! I sometimes wonder if this is indeed my house and then I look at her and my heart just melts and I realize ... this is Toto's "home"! ;) |
