A fine day in the snow 4 Attachment(s) Wow, the sun popped up, the Yorkies were frisky, and Jack turned into a supermodel in the snow. I finally found his favorite booties, and the difference was remarkable. He walked and ran our entire 1-mile loop for the first time ever in the snow! He is an entirely different dog than he was last winter when he was recovering from surgery. The first picture below might be my favorite of all time of one of my boys. I'm still trying to keep Eddie under control because of his sore leg, but he busted a few moves anyway. |
Great photos, as always Mike!!!! Jack looks adorable - I love both photos of him!! You are making me very cold with the snow photos. It's bad enough that the winds are 20 mph gusting to 40 mph with temps only in the high 30's - Brrrrrr!! |
Those are great. I love the action shots. Thanks for sharing. We don't really get snow here, but they look like they really enjoy it.:) |
Fantastic...but, man that looks cold! |
Your photography is wonderful. How do you get such great pictures of them running towards you. |
Those are great photos!! I would have that first one framed or send in to a Yorkie calendar!! Excellent! |
They look great.. The first one looks like a postcard.. |
Nice Pictures Looks like a lot of fun in the snow! :D |
I love the photos in the snow. It looks like the pups are having a great time. I know my pups really like the snow... they come in all covered with snow and have the biggest grins on their faces. |

Great photos . |
:D Tee hee. Hopefully my puppy will enjoy the snow as much as yours does this winter! |
What beautiful shots! I want to know how you do the action shots too! Mine are always blurry and yours are perfect. |

IluvLucy, don't be fooled by my pics. I take hundreds and only post the best. Believe me, I've taken far more blurry ones than ones in focus. However, I do have a good camera (canon digital rebel) and a nice telephoto lens (300 mm). Cameras with interchangeable lenses (SLRs) allow you to shoot at faster shutter speeds to stop the action, and the telephoto allows you to stand farther back and call your pup to you. But no matter what kind of camera you have, you can get good action shots. Just keep practicing and read the manual about how to shoot at faster shutter speeds. |
Great photos! Your boys are so cute! Ah, snow...it will be here soon...;) ~Marly |
