....Jaxon has started using his heated bed again! I turned it on for him this morning and he's been in there ever since!!!!! I think he was getting too warm though and managed to sneak a pic of him with my phone (he's gotten wise to my digital camera and won't even look at me when I try to take pics now :rolleyes: ).

He hasn't gone near this bed all summer. Guess the toasty heating pad feels good on this grey and cool day.

and you also know when its getting cold when they want to come under
the blanket with you and go all the way by your feet....

Yes! PLEEEEEEEEEEASE tell me where you got that heated bed! I've gotta have one!!!!!! Hootie always gets cold. Poor girl. :(

I bought it on eBay and it wasn't expensive at all. Jaxon always liked the heating pad as a puppy so I thought this bed was great. I ended up putting my own heating pad in the bed - it was better quality, has heat settings and also has an auto shut off after 3 hours. If you have a heating pad already, I think you can just buy covers too.

I looked and there are a few on eBay now:

If you get a heating pad with the auto shut off, it probably would be fine, assuming it fit in the crate. Jaxon had a gated area as a puppy and we'd turn his pad on when we'd leave.

Aww, he is such a cutie!! What a great sneak picture you got!!!

The bed is cute but too expensive. Here is a link to an online store when you can get the exact bed, exact size, for alot less. It is only $11.97 plus $6.95 for shipping so that is $18.92 instead of paying $38 from the ebay store.

Oh Jackson...you have THE LIFE !

That's so cute ...they sure know what feels good on their little bodies....that's one thing that makes me nuts during the winter is thinking of all the dogs in kennels...at the awful mills. How much they must want a bed like that.:(

man - am I depressing you or WHAT ??? sorry ! He's such a little cutie and what a good mom to get her baby a heated bed

Oh and I must say...your cell phone takes really good pics! :eek: I have the pink Motorola Razr V3 and it takes pretty good pics, but I don't know if they are that clear! Wow! :D

Yes, the pics are pretty good. It's a Verizon Treo 500 smartphone - mostly used for work stuff (full email and web access) but I've taken a couple pics too. It's the one way I can fool Jaxon and sneak a pic!
