Update On Cosmo
 
He has coccidiosis and giardiasis. He has to take two pills a day and he should be fine. Thanks everyone for all your concern.

Thank goodness you now know what it is and you can treat that little baby and watch him get better. Chachi got a littlse stressed when he was young like that and got diahrea so I know how scary it is. I am glad your little Cosmo will be back to himself in no time.

The vet bill was $185.13 geez. atleast he is going to be better. He has to take a pill tiwce a day.

Vet bills can get SO high. For Tia's first visit it was $150! Not fun, but at least he was able to get treated.

So glad to hear that they were able to find out what was wrong with Cosmo! I hope it won't be long until he is over this. It's so sad when they are sick! Tell him Toto sends him big puppy kisses!! Thanks for updating us. We will still keep him in our prayers.

I missed the original post. What are these virus thaht your baby has and the symptons?

He had Giarda and Coccidiosis. He had runny watery poop and it had blood in it. Read the two posts called Scared!!:( and Question!! by me I think those will help too.

I\'m glad your baby is okay, i knew it could have been one or the other. i\'m so glad he\'s good now! i know vet bills can be expensive - Oreo\'s brush with death costed me $400.00! and a week later another $300! so yes very expensive!

Oh good! At least now this is something you can go by. And now he can get all better. Vet bills do get very pricey! But they are worth it. I dont know what I would do without my vet.

Im glad that Cosmo is ok. He will get better soon with the treatment. I know how vet bills can be. Gucci had coccidiasis and ringworm when we got her. She saw the vet twice a week. So believe me i know vets are expensive. Gucci sent him puppy hugs and kisses. :getwellso

I talked to the breeder and she said that she had kept him longer she would have had the vet bill and not me so there is not a lot she can do. We did not really have a contract and that was a bif mistake but she told me how she paid for someone elses dog that had kennel cough. i dunno what to do.
