A friend made a slide-show movie of some pictures of my boys that came out kinda cute. You guys have probably seen all these pictures, but I think it's cool the way they can be turned into a movie. I gotta learn how to do it.

That was very nice. Love the choice of music.

My daughter does that with mini videos and photos, I need to have her make one for me. I'm sure I could do it, but it takes time.

Great pictures. How did you train your yorkie to ware shoes??? I would like to train mine for rainy day....

I've never tried them in the rain, just snow, but I'm sure the training process would be the same. I've considered using some in the rain, but since cold isn't a concern I figured I'd just train them to get used to wet paws. They are easier to dry than to put on booties. LOL. However, if you want to try it, here's what I did.

Be consistent. Put them on the dog, and don't let them tell you no. I used to have to chase Eddie around the house on a daily basis to get them on, but once he realized I wouldn't give up, he did. (It helped that we had touched his feet daily since he was a pup to get him used to nail trimming.)

To get them to walk, put a favorite treat 2 feet in front of their nose and make them walk to it. They might do this pathetic hop, stagger, hop for a while, but once they focus on the treat, you've won. Don't overdo it, though. If you can see them losing patience, quit and try again another time. Always quit on a success, even if it's only a step or two.

My last yorkie grown up in California so no need to wear shoes so she wouldn't wear them even though she had to stand 3 legged in the snow. (She move in with my parents and they lives in a snow country!!)
Also my Hazuki used to run around in the snow and get her hair all tangled with little snow ball. That was a pain!!
It won't melt quickly so she used to shiver a while front of the heater!!!
Boy I miss her.... (She past away 2 years ago.)
I'll try to train my yorkie when I adopt her. (I don't have a yorkie right now....sometime this winter I'll adopt one!!)
