I guess this is actually a test. I've been so busy that I haven't had the time to figure out how to make an avatar. I sure hope this works. The photo is of my precious, perfect little Chester whom I lost a year ago. Although I have my Chloe and five precious pups now, I'm afraid no dog will ever be as close to my heart as Chester. I used to pray that he would outlive me, but it was not to be. I know he is not the breed standard color, but I don't care. He was absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for listening:D

Awwww....He IS beautiful and what a nice tribute to him - he sounds really special....

if you have more pictures - I'll be happy to do one for you with all your babies animated.....just pm me if you want one..but good job !!

Thanks guys. Even a year later, I still get teary-eyed when I think about him. Chester came to me purely by the grace of God. He actually belonged to some people two streets over from where I used to live. I found him laying in the middle of the street one morning and he was in such bad shape it even made the vet mad. He was infected from head to toe; eyes, ears, skin, teeth. For lack of a better word, I stole him. They had another yorkie that ended up getting run over because they just let them run the streets. Had I known, I would have taken it too. It took me two years and $2500.00 to get him back to health. It was worth every penny and I would have paid more if needed. The vet guessed him to between 10-12 when I got him. We had five wonderful years together. He was completely deaf and mostly blind at the end but he still loved to be cuddled and slept right next to me under the covers. I had another rescue, Rosebud who lived to be 18. I love getting them in their old age and spoiling them rotten and always keep an eye out. Thanks again.

OMG you found him laying in the street ? Bless his heart ! that's horrible and I'm so glad you were his angel - it sounds like you gave him the best years of his life and you should be very proud of that......I just don't understand people at all -

these dogs just want love....how can someone neglect them so badly :( One day....they'll get exactly what's coming to them ....they may not know it .... but in the end.....they'll pay for that kind of cruelty .

I truly believe they will. I'm sure I've done some things in my life that I will have to answer for also, but never anything such as that. My best friend was a true believer in Karma and I try to keep that in the back of my mind now, knowing that my punishment list is long enough. I'm just so glad I was the one God chose to care for him as I was blessed beyond measure by his presence in my life.

PS - Isn't this weather absolutely wonderful! I can finally open my windows. YEAH!

I LOVE IT!!! However, the little guy after Chloe is actually the stud I bred her to! If we could just delete that photo it would be perfect. I didn't realize how wonderful Chloe's photo was cropped like that. It surely captures her personality as she's a sweetheart. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH. I can't wait to get the puppy photos to you.

What do I have to do to make it my avatar? Never mind - I did manage to figure that out! Guess I'm not as technologically challenged after all - HA!

Awww your avatar looks great and I am so sorry to hear of your sweet Chester's passing :( I know what it feels like to lose a beloved pet and it is NEVER easy, and you NEVER get over it. He is your angel now and even though you may not be able to see him, he is still with you in your heart, and beside you at all times, and he always will be :) Sending big Yorkie kisses to you from Stedman :animal36 :aimeeyork :)
