Hello,
I am so indecisive! I had thought that I found my baby and then the lady had to send me new pictures so I was browsing and found some other little girls that I absolutely love but I can't pick so can someone please help me! I am also illiterate as how to go about posting pictures any information would be greatly appreciated!!

Yes, PLEASE don't buy from there. There is NO WAY someone would sell TWO babies for $600. Those websites are nothing but scams :mad: :thumbdown

I feel the site is scamming also please be careful. Remember if it sounds to good to be true it is.

yeah you should expect to pay a little bit more than that for a really good dog. There are plenty of repitable breeders you can go through and get a really good pup. I know my breeder is absolutely amazing her website is dandieyorkies.com (just a suggestion). I got my baby from there and it has been a wonderful experience.:) And I know she has pups right now.

I think a lot of the posts on that website are scams. See the "$8,500 for a Yorkie" thread we've been keeping up with...

I try to steer clear of scams but I was hoping that this wasn't one!! I have been talking to two breeders on their pups and I can't seem to pick one!Thank you all for your insight I am kinda bummed because I really wanted the twins but I don't want to end up getting a sickly dog!!

The whole Livedeal website is not the place to buy a puppy. Those links are likely to a scam and if not, those puppies are not ready to be sold much less shipped.
FInd a breeder in your area to buy from, don't buy via the Internet.

I can't recommend any of these sites that are for the express purpose of selling a puppy. There is no way to know if they actually have a puppy for sale or if the pictures you get are of the puppies they have.
There are many many scams going on doesn't matter which site they are on. If you look on the archives of puppies for sale on this site, Yorkietalk, you will see a couple of suspected scammers, likely the same person, posting puppies for sale that in my opinion, may or may not have existed.
If you want to buy a puppy, you can find a breeder via the Internet, in your area or near enough for you to travel to. You can talk to them first, then go visit and see for sure what it is you are buying including at least the mother and if the own the sire, you can also see him.

Thank you! I am unable to buy one in my area because of the prices in Arizona so I have to buy from out of state! I have wanted a little girl for 3 years and have been searching for the perfect one! Someone from yorkietalk told me that sometimes livedeal is good for buying puppies! I don't mean to be rude but I am a little bit confused I mean if you talk to someone and they give you info that sounds legit it isn't??

I was wondering, why don't you buy from some "responsible and well-known breeder"? Someone that has a reputation and name to mantain. ;) I do not know about these people selling the dogs there (they MAY BE good people and they MAY BE puppymills). Remember that when you choose the puppy, this puppy will live with you for so many years and so you want to make sure you are buying from a responsible breeder. I would go to the AKC.org page to find a list of breeders. In my opinion, it is better to spend a little more and be sure that you are buying a good puppy from a good home. Anyway, Good Luck!! :)

Check out either www.nextdaypets.com which has a ton of people selling yorkies...the only thing with that site is that some people on there are scammers but you can identify them with their low or free price...and the other which was my favorite was www.anypets.com ...if you happen to check that one out and call on a pup...you should ask for melissa...she is great. i dont know her personally but when i was looking i talked to her a number of times and she is sooooo friendly. Hope that might help

Also ask what type of payments they take...never pay with western union or things like that...you have no way to get your money back...and also i was told by another site that alot of scammers use yahoo emails because for one..they are free...two they can use it at any computer so their ip address cant be tracked, and three the fact that they say that the site wont deliver the email is usally them being afraid that the site admin is going to see whats going on and report them. Just trying to give some advise on the subject...for a few months i helped www.nextdaypets.com to help eliminate some of their scammers...oh and never ever buy from someone that has traveled to africa for missionary reasons because that is 99.9% of the time a scam. I have not once heard of someone in that situation getting their pup and if you read those stories from more then one person that is saying they are in africa, the stories will sound exactly the same...so just watch out.

You are still better off to buy from a reputable breeder who does not sell on the INternet shipping puppies to people and parts unknown.
If you cannot afford a puppy, I don't know the prices in Arizona, maybe start saving for a good quality pet from a show breeder. Trust me, they will be cheaper than many that are sold on the Internet and the pup will look like a good quality Yorkie. A reputable breeder will give you the health guarantees required and will be there 24/7 to give you any help or information you may need for the puppy.
You also have to be sure to have funds for Vet care, emergency Vet care, or pet insurance if you go that route, and the people that have bought my puppies found the other stuff they got for the puppy wasn't very cheap either -- food, beds, toys that were destroyed in the first hour, etc
Buying from any of these puppies for sale message boards don't often work out, sometimes they do, but can you afford to lose the money if it doesn't or spend a lot of money on Vet care for a pup that has a lot of health problems and you can't bear to let it die, which could still happen.
You want to deal with a breeder that cares enough about their puppies they may be selling for pet, to be sure it is going to a good home by interviewing and meeting you, and by standing behind their guarantees and have the best in mind for their puppy. I would never sell a puppy through the Internet.

The lady that I talked to said that this was her first time selling on the internet!!

I too would not purchase a pup from there. There are tons of good breeders here. Just keep an eye out on the for sale section.

i somewhat agree with what people are saying but the website www.anypets.com is a great place to check...they are a huge company in florida that sells puppies for the breeders around there. I have found so far for that website to be scam free...maybe just check it out

Live Deal - Scams or Not
 

Not all the ads on Live Deal are scams. I have bought a yorkie from someone through there and it worked out ok BUT there are a lot of scams on there. At least 2 of the ads you put links for are scams for sure.
The big problem - whether if be live deal or some other site - is that they can cancel the persons account but the same person just turns around and opens another under another name.
As someone else said, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam!
A lot of times they dont even have the dog they are advertising but steal the pictures from other places to post.
I would insist on pictures of the parents, more pictures of the puppy advertised taken with different props, etc.
I would also tell them I planned to pick the puppy up and would pay in full at that time rather than send any money to anyone I wasnt sure about. I have uncovered scammers by saying I would pick up or have my brother pick it up. All of a sudden you dont hear from them again.
There are lots of red flags if you know what to look for and I dont mean to sound like a know-it-all but if I can stop even one person from getting hurt by these theives then I really dont care what I sound like!
Good luck finding the puppy of your dreams - just be careful as you search.

thank you! I e-mailed 2 all three people from there and have heard back from two and am about to ask for pictures of the pup withthe mom and dad! I already told them that my grandpa would be picking her up so yeah thank you for your insight and you don't sound like a know it all at all!!!

I just wanted to add that not all Yahoo email addresses are free accounts. I have two different Yahoo addresses that I use for different purposes. One I use almost exclusively for eBay. The other one and the one I use for most everything else is a PAID Yahoo account. I pay a fee every year for this account and it always irks me that there is no distinction.
The reason I never use an isp account is that I live in a small town and had to change the address every time there was a new provider which happened once too often. I like Yahoo because when I travel, it is easy to check my email no matter where I am.
So there are legimate reasons for using a Yahoo account. You cant always judge a book by the cover. :aimeeyork :animal-pa

i wasnt meaning that all of them are free...the people that scam usually use yahoo because its free for them...i was told that by the site administrator for www.nextdaypets.com when i was asking about scams

anypets.com seems much better than the one you had before.
As for the yahoo I have it, too, but I pay for it when I pay my regulat IP
