Eddie agility practice vids
 
Here are some bad-quality but short vids of Eddie practicing in the backyard. He's still in beginning agility, but I think he's doing great.

A friend gave me these weave poles as an easy way to practice at home. The idea is to gradually raise them straight up so he weaves around them. In the beginning like this, all he has to do is walk through the middle of them.

Wow! You've got quite the athelete there. Jack seems to want to do agility to. Howcome he was only sitting their like nothing.:animal36

Eddie is doing great!! I loved the last video when you are running side by side with Eddie through the course and Jack runs right up to you at the end. Like "see I did it too!"

Yeah, Jack has figured out that if he runs around and pretends to do the course, he gets treats too. I've worked with him on a few of the skills, but I don't want him doing the jumps with his surgically repaired leg.

I swear, if he was younger and healthier, he'd be better than Eddie. He's much more willing to please.

Wow he does great! I would love Bella to get into something like that (she has so much energy and loves to run and jump like a nut. I have a really big yard to practice in but I need to fence it all in. Good Job! Both your babies are so cute!

I wish we could have agility class in my backyard, because he's actually much better there where he doesn't have 14 other dogs distracting him.

He's doing so well!! Neat way to learn the weave poles. We used to have our terrier mix in agility and she loved it so much. She was slow to learn the poles but I think if she learned that way she would have found it much easier.
Now that we have Topher, I'd love to get him involved in agility or fly ball, but first we have to finish obedience training....lots to learn...lol...for hubby and I, that is! ;)
Jack is so cute, looking proud like he did the course, too...lol.

You are so great with the tricks and obediance. My dog picks up agility easy...but coming when called...outside...not always good despite all the work I've done and training classes...and "crawl". He has a really hard time with "crawl".
