I think the boys could sense my excitement today when my camera came back from the shop. They were especially feisty. I love the fourth shot. After making Eddie chase his rubber barbell all day for pictures, he dropped it on the ground and stuck his tongue out at it.

They both need haircuts badly.

Great photos! I love the action in the second pic..... Little Eddie looks like he is running to his Daddy as fast as his little legs will carry him. Such love and dedication.

Thanks, everybody. It's a good thing there's a little turnover on YT. Otherwise, you'd all be tired of them by now, LOL! I go out every day and take the same pictures over and over! I love looking at their expressions caught in time. I don't want to miss a day of their lives.

Liz, good eye on the shadows! It would take someone just reaching summertime to appreciate that! Our days are indeed getting shorter.

And RMKC, I have a canon digital rebel, 6.3 megapixels. It's clunky and not real practical for a lot of situations, but I love it. It takes interchangeable lenses, and I have a 70-300mm zoom that I take most of my pics with.

Bought last yr the tini Casio Exilim 750 7.2 Mega Pixels as i went Snowmobiling alot and wanted something realy small, but as far as catching action shots..by the time i get the pic action is over, sucks... or mabey i suck as pic taker and cant figure out how to set the camera...:D cant wait for your Winter pics as i love the snow...sold my sled last yr as back is realy messed up from work and didn want it to rust...mabey in a couple of yrs...

That's one of the beauties of my camera. You can shoot pictures as
fast as you can click the shutter. It eventually needs to process, but
you can take 4 or so.

For action shots on smaller cameras, try prefocusing on a spot by
holding the shutter halfway down. Then follow the subject until it
reaches the spot you're focused on and click the rest of the way. You
can usually get one shot the way you want. Most cameras have "burst"
modes too, where you can click and hold the shutter for a burst of 3
or 4 shots.

Bummer about your sled. That's why I never got into it. I can't
tighten a bolt, let alone fix a machine!
