Janet! I think you did a wonderful job! I have thought about trying to make a shirt, so if I get froggy I may try it, here my hubby bought me a sewing machine and it sits in my cupboard, maybe I will surprise him and sew something lolol

You did a wonderful job - you should be very proud!! :D They are all adorable, but I especially love the green dress with pink flowers and lace, and the green harness with pink flowers!!! (pink is my favorite color, so....) lol. Totally cute! :thumbup:

Thanks Missy. I could never do it for a living like some on here do. I get bored after awhile and move on to something else. I like reading, other kinds of crafts, etc. so I'll sew for a month or two, then move on to reading. It'd be nice if I could do two things at once...LOLOL I find myself already getting tired of sewing and having my bedroom messed up, so it may be a few months before I sew again, unless I just get the urge sooner. I need to make Joey some things, but I started with girl things, because they are cuter. Oh well...

i really like the last one on top the green & pink how much did it cost to make will you or are you considering making them for anyone else?

I never made anything for anyone elses yorkies. I kinda measure as I go. I'm new to sewing and definately have alot to learn. That dress probably cost a total of $2.00 Look for a new thread from me and I will try to take a few pics of the dresses off to give anyone interested a better idea of how I make them. I bought a harness one time and then started to use that pattern but added a skirt so it would be a dress. Its the only pattern I use, LOL. Like I said, this is all new to me and anything more difficult would completely lose me. Thank you all for the very nice compliments :) :D :animal36 :aimeeyork :animal-pa

Thank you so much for liking what I made. I've made some as gifts for my friends that have Yorkies. I may someday try at flea markets, but as for selling them on YT, I wouldn't feel very good about myself. I bought some D-rings off of Des (Tiger's Mom) for personal use and I just don't feel it would be proper to buy things from her and then try to move in on her. I'm just not that kind of person. She has been so kind and good to me. Besides I still need some practice as far as making my stitches straight and working with that awful bias stuff. It's hard and I'm a perfectionist. So maybe someday, but it will be quite a while. Thanks again you guys!!!! :) :) :)

I forgot to answer your question on cost. I tried figuring it the best I could and it came to $2.25. I've been looking for material and found some as low as 50 cents a yard up to $3.96. :D

Those outfits look fantastic! I'm very impressed. I bought a pattern last year & tried to make Max a coat, but I just got lost & it turned out ridiculously huge. LOL

I've been thinking of trying to make a vest harness, but just haven't had the gusto to actually do it. Now, I might have to give it a whirl! :)

I can sew things for the house...curtains, pillows, slipcovers, etc...and I can mend clothing, but as for creating something fitted from scratch -- it's always a disaster.

I love the outfits.... Maybe I should get off my lazy bum and make something like that too? I'd never guess you don't like to sew, they look great.:)
