How adorable! My Sadie has 4 pups in her first litter, and 5 with her second. That is when the breeder retired her, as she had a very tough time. My vet said 4-5 pups is a big litter for a 5-1/2 lb. Thankyou Passionfruit, I have an older digital and it doesn't do as well as it should. Did you just use a photo editor? Annabelle seems to be getting worse slowly. The air that is trapped on her back, which is also where the feces keeps building up,causes her stomach to grumble when we try to express it out. She is seek to her stomach a lot. She has a real good couple of hours after her pain meds, then it s down hill the rest of the day. I am trying to let her be wit the babies as much as possible. I bath her frequently so sh ewont contaminate them. One more day closer to Tuesday. |

Poor little ANnabelle! I know you are doing everything you can! This morning after I fed Bitsy's pups, I had her onesie on and I put on a little pair of panties over her onesie (the ones we used when she was in heat---you can get them at Petco or Petsmart) and put it on snugg, not too tight, but snugg enough so the pups couldn't sneak up the leg hole, and it worked great! I was able to walk out of the room and clean up without worrying that the pups would find a teat to nurse on. Just thought I'd share. Those pictures are so sweet. Annabelle favors my Bitsy....and guess what!?! My pups look like your pups :D Imagine that! :) Just remember you aren't in this boat alone! |
I'm so sorry to hear Annabelle isn't feeling so well. I'll say a prayer for her! Her puppies are adorable and look so well cared for! |
All of our pups could pass as identical twins( or what ever 11 pups would be) LOL I do have a heat diaper, but do to the swelling it would not work, but I will definitly remember it when we get her rear fixed. We have an eye open, still 7 more to go :D |
