Wow, Google CAN bark after all! 2 Attachment(s) My husband has found a great way to make Google (the amazing barkless dog) bark like a maniac and basically go crazy playing: he bought a small battery-operated remote-control toy car over at the toy store Google barks, chases it, "protects" me from it (if it comes near me he puts himself between me and the toy) and basically has a ball. He played for about a half-hour before with hubby, and now he's sleeping at the foot of my bed while I'm posting this with my laptop, all snuggled up and ready for sleep. |
lol so funny lol that is too cute, and so funny. Steddy's Grandma (my mom LOL) brought him a Squiggle Ball yesterday, and he BARKS at that thing like CRAZY!!! We thought that he would just love to chase it around...but I think he is actually scared of it lol. It is SO funny to watch!! It is a round ball (about the size of a baseball) that is made of hard, see through plastic and something inside of it that turns makes the ball CONSTANTLY roll around on the floor/carpet (it takes batteries), even if it bumps into something it will turn around and go the other way lol..it is so funny and hubby and I just crack up watching Stedman bark at this darn thing :D As soon as I turn it on he will start backing up and barking at the same time...lol hilarious. I've GOTTA post the video I took of this, it is too funny! :D |
That is so cute and Google has a beautiful coat! I'm always trying to make mine stop barking. We have the same ball as Stedman and I brought it out twice before I decided, uh uh, bad idea. They go absolutely crazy barking at it! |
Be thankful that Google isn't a barker! The pics are precious! That is SO funny that hubby found something that will actually make him bark! Don't you just love it that he tries to protect you?? His coat is absolutely BEAUTIFUL by the way! What do you use on it??? I use Missing Link, but Hobbs' coat isn't nearly that shiny! Please share your secrets! |
Thank you! Believe it not, I don't use anything exotic on his coat. I wash him using Sergeant's Sentry Pro Flea and Tick shampoo! I leave it on him for the recommended 5 minutes by bringing him in the shower with me. I lather him, then he sits and waits for me to wash myself, then I rinse him off. If he has tangles, which is rare, I might use a human product on him: Paul Mitchell detangler. That's it! |

Also, his diet might help his coat, too--I feed Google Pet Botanics Rolled Meat Beef & Rice smoked flavor as both a regular meal and a 'treat' for training; Royal Canin puppy #33 (soon to switch to the Yorkshire Terrier food), an occasional Cesar dog food (that's what they fed him at the breeder, and I'm very slowly taking that away) , and once a week he gets a scrambled egg or some cut-up chicken breast (no skin). I also give him an occasional teaspoonful of plain yogurt, which he loves, but I don't go too nuts with that. Plus he still gets Nutri-cal vitamins. |
