I only have four more weeks, I hope, the breeder might want to keep her longer. Call me crazy, I already have two yorkies Maddie is 2 and Rudy is 17 months, and Lucky a chow-mix who is 15 years old. It is just me and my furbabies. I went with a friend to look at puppies and it was like I had to have her. Her mom has the same blood line as my first yorkie "Max", he had a great life for 17 years and the puppies dad name is Max. She is 8 wks old in the pic's. She is small but healthy. The breeder is great I have gone to see her 3 times and they change so fast. Am so excited just had to share some pic's I took this week. Am going to name her Maggie. First two pic's ar of Maggie, third is Rudy, and last is Maddie.

Precious! We got Sully at 10 weeks but never got to visit him or his breeder before hand. I wish I could have played with him at 8 weeks......sooooo cute!

I love your dogs. They're so pretty. Are you worried about the dogs getting confused about Maggie and Maddie since they sound similar?

They do sound alike. Reason I am naming her that. My Grandmother passed away in Feb. She had a great life, she lived to be 96 years old. She loved Maddie and Rudy and told me I needed another one, which I thought she was crazy. :p Her name was Margaret, but my grandfather called her Maggie and she left me the money to get another yorkie. I hope I don't confuse her, but Maddie is a little angel, I am hoping Maggie is one to.
Thanks for all the compliments on my furbabies. Maggie is a sweetie, will post more pics when I get her, I hope in a month, but the breeder might want to keep her and her sister longer, since they were smaller than there liter mates.

If they do get confused (though I hope they don't) you could call the new one "Peggy" which is also a nickname for Margaret ;)

MaddieRudyMom, thanks for sharing the story about your grandmother. I too, lost my grandmother this year. I lost all my remaining grandparents within the last year and a half. Losing the last one, my Grandmother Mary, was especially hard because we were always close. I'm still mourning. :wilted_ro :unlove: I get sad everytime I see a little old lady out running her errands or if I see a brand of cookies she liked. And Dr. Pepper will always remind me of her. She was the original "Pepper". My grandmother was so independent. Sometimes I wish I could have a good hard cry and feel better than this sadness that keeps creeping up. :cry: I know it's just part of the process...Anyway, your pups are so gorgeous! How wonderful that your grandmother left you money for another Yorkie! I hope you have many many sweet years with your little Maggie and all your furbabies!

I am so sorry for your loss. She was my last living grandparent. I was very lucky, she just lived around the corner from me. She lived in her own home till the very end, she was very independent and till the end didn't think she needed her caregivers. I still go the long way to avoid going by her house, but, I have a lot of great memories. I only hope I live has long as she did in such great health. Take care.
