Silly Question, but hafta ask... How do you keep your Yorkies topknot on? Mine will not leave his alone, he has to rub his head all over trying to get the band or barette off. If only he knew how cute he looked with it on! |
Maybe he really doesn't want to wear one, and just save the topknot for special ocassions...like little boys and dress ties. :D |

Thanks for the picutre.. I can't wait for Mochas hair to grow so I can torture her!! LOL |
Sophie is NOT fond of me putting rubber bands in her hair. I try to do it every so often just to help her get used to it though. She cries and pulls away...such a little sissy!! |
Yep, Joe is squirmy, and he is 3. His first owners didn't do anything with him, 'cept let him get bogged down with fleas  Poor guy needs to go to the groomer, get that hair outta his eyes. |
My Alex is 5 years old and I just started trying to put bows in his hair. He sits and lets me do it. I just worry if it is hurting him. How do you get the bands so tight? What kind of bands do you use? I know when my pony tail is tight I get a headache. I worry that this might do the same for him. Or even just bring him to feel uncomfortable.... |
I bought some Goody little, tiny elastic ones, used for braiding probably. I would love to take a grooming class so I could figure it out. Joe doesn't really like to be brushed even, so I don't know how the groomers manage to get him looking so slick. |
Josie stands real still when I'm putting her top knot and bows on, I just whisper to her how pretty she's going to look and she stands or sits still. I've been putting them on her since she was six weeks old. She's now a year and 4 months. It takes me longer to put them on than she keeps them on. LOL :) |
