I love all of the babies. Makes me want moreeeeeeee babies :D |
2 Attachment(s) What a cute thread! I'm so glad I came across it. The first picture is the picture my breeder sent me. Of course I fell in love! When going to see him I was a little intimidated with his tiny size. He was very tiny. Much smaller then his sister. But then I seen what a little toughy he was and how his small size did not stop him. It was so cute watching him play with his sister and pinning her down. He did not let himself get bullied one bit. The other picture was taken within the first week of him being home. |
1 Attachment(s) Here is a pic of little Maddie, she is the one on the left. I helped Jill post these pics and I told her I wanted the one on the left. That she looks sooo fluffy and sweet. I made this comment not thinking I'd really be getting her. Well, one thing lead to another and Little Maddie is now All mine. She is a wonderful little girl. She is doing awesome on potty training. I'm crate training and training to the outdoors only and seems to be working. She will go all night and not potty in her crate. She is sweet and lovable and has learned to sit. She is catching on fast. I'm so glad she came into my life. |
Cutie Tootie 1 Attachment(s) my Tootie.... OOOO So cute! I know this is opposite of YT proto-type but I fell in love with the precious "down" ears.... love my boy! |
Oh that is good. They are all adorable. |
1 Attachment(s) Here's the first picture I ever took of Eddie. He wasn't even ours yet, but my wife was making her case. |
2 Attachment(s) It's been FUN reading all these stories! Ours is simple...a friend has a Yorkie, we fell in love & had to have our own! These are the pics from the breeder...she had 2 boys ready to go @ Christmastime, and there was just something about this little guy that melted my heart the moment I saw him. Peyton Maxim Vandalay :aimeeyork |
1 Attachment(s) Here is the pic that sealed the deal. I couldn't resist his cute face and dark eyes. He ended up being my Christmas/Birthday present from hubbie and I've always said it was the best gift EVER!!! |
Oh my goodness, all these adorable babies. I swear I could have a whole farm full (not a mill, but a farm full of spayed and neutered babies..lol). Latuya, Gus is just too irresistable. I want to kiss his little puppy lips in that picture. Denise, Maddie is sooo cute in that picture. I love the basket full of babies, hmm, good birthday present idea..lol Tootiesmom, That picture just gives away his name. He truly just looks like a tootie cutie patootie toosh. Mike, I'd say that your wife won that one. With that picture, even the heart of stone couldn't resist. Peyton looks so tiny and adorable. He looks like he made the perfect present. I hope I get a yorkie for my birthday next month, or for christmas :D Jaxon is too cute, but he has that "wait till I grow up" look on his face, like a little mischievious look..lol Everyone keep on posting I love this thread! |
My Princess 3 Attachment(s) Well I was at the point in time that I wanted to have another baby(human) but the hubby was saying no, so I told him its either a puppy or a baby. Well you all can guess what he choose, Princess was my birthday, christmas and aniv, present and was well worth the 2months I had to save my paycheck, and I got a little extra from my mom to help out to get her. (at the time I was a stay at home mom and babysat for a little extra money and to help with the bills) I had picked Princess out of 3 girls at 3weeks old I just fell in love with her. She came home about a month (May 05) later and is the biggest joy in my life. the first picture that made me fall in love with her next is a few days after she came home last she was 15 weeks old when we got Koda Bear. |
fun post... 1 Attachment(s) we already had a boy yorkie and my hubby refuse to let me do anything girly with him...so my birthday rolled around and I begged and pleaded and begged and pleaded some more for a girl yorkie. Finally, he gave in and I quickly went on the web, was referred a local breeder by a local yorkie forum, called her. I was in luck, she had an 8 week old litter with 1 girl left...she was the biggest of the litter and was 2.3 lbs but that was ok with me since her parents are only 4lbs and 4lbs. Hubby and I went to see her only and I fell madly in love with her. She was tiny, spunky, and came right up to me. Put a deposit down and two weeks later, she was home with us. She is a joy, sweet, sassy, loving, smart, playful, curious, overall well behaved, and cute as a button and she's madly in love with Georgie! |
ok now Koda Bear 4 Attachment(s) Well Koda just needed a new loving home someone here on yt had to give him up, Well I thought it was a long shot but I talked to hubby and showed him the pictures that the person sent me, He said I could have him but I didnt have the money so I asked my mom and then told her I would pay her back the money, but as soon as she saw him she said dont worry just think of him as a early christmas present. Well I drove to austin the next night and got my little cutie and I fell in love instantly, He is such a good boy he was 13 weeks old when I got him. Now my hubby who is not an animal lover is so in love with our little Koda Bear, and they are always snuggling, (even though he says he dosent) men. Anyways here are some pictures some pictures before we got him when he came home a couple of months after about 6m |
Your babies are so adorable. I know men will never admit it but I swear my boyfriend gets so excited when Coco runs to greet him virtually sliding on the tiles. He grins from ear to ear and picks her up. Yes this was the NON animal/dog lover  |
3 Attachment(s) I had wanted a Lil Yorkie Baby for like 3 years. I would always search them up and look at pictures of them on the internet and just dream of having one. My husband and I wanted another baby... He had a Vasectomy Reversal done and to no success almost 3 years later ... we still have not concieved. I then really started wanting a Lil Furbaby... Sound weird maybe, but Peaches filled such a void... We have 3 daughters... Kristen 16, Chanda 15, and Ashley 10... but no matter the desire and want was strong. Peaches has helped so much with that... We searched and searched on the internet and one day Peaches picture popped up.. MY daughter Chanda saw her first... She hollered for me to come in to see this picture... My heart just leaped. Also the Breeder was only like 45 to an hour away. She was just to sweet and adorable. My heart was instantly hers. The first picture is Peaches now she is 7 mths.. this pic was taken 2 days ago... The second picture is the picture I saw on the internet from the Breeder. The third picture is when I got her home, she was 12 weeks.. My youngest daughter Ashley 10, made her the outfit she is wearing :) |
1 Attachment(s) The photo I first saw of Sissy when I fell in love with her was on my breeder's web page. I didn't think to ask for that photo till much later and she hadn't kept it. But I picked Sissy out of a line-up of 5 pups that were available, but her cute little face spoke right to me!! I specifically aksed for little girl #2. Here is the first photo I took of Sissy when she came home at 13 weeks. |

Cute Thread 2 Attachment(s) Here's my Phoebe. My story.... Hubby has always wanted a Yorkie (I know, weird, right?:p ) and I always grew up with small dogs (shih tzu's) so I wanted a bigger dog. Hence our house being blessed with two lovely Boxers. Well the more I looked at photos of Yorkies I thought they are just so adorable. Then I found this site, did my research and saw that some people had Yorkie's with Boxers and I thought why not. Well the thing that really made me do it was, Hubby had triple bypass open heart surgery back in May. So I thought this would be the best gift for US ;) So after research and dreaming of having one, I found a breeder. I thought it was perfect...hubby would be home to potty train. Well, by the time Phoebe was able to come home, hubby was back at work  But we still had our house blessed with this beautiful baby that gets along great in our household:aimeeyork |
Well, I don't have a picture, but here is our story: A friend of mine had been telling me how she knew someone who needed to get rid of their puppy. They just couldn't figure out why when left for 12 hours a day with free run of the house he was chewing on furniture, so they kept him locked in a kennel all the time.(but that's another story) I didn't think anything of it because although I wanted a dog, I didn't want to get my hopes up. I was shopping with my friend in a town about 30min. away from where I live and she got a phone call from the guy giving the dog away (we will call him Joe). She told Joe I was interested and he said we should meet at petco so I could see the dog. We got to Petco and as soon as I layed eyes on Louie I was in love! Although he was 5months old he was sooo small. Joe had tried to cut his hair, and it looked aweful. Louie was very dirty and smelled like men's cologne, which Joe said was from his bath. (yea right) It was like Louie knew I was going to be his new mama, because we bonded instantly. I asked Joe when we could make arrangements for Louie to come home with me, and he told me he brought all his stuff(a bag of dog food and a kennel) and I could take him then. I didn't waste another minute. Louie and I started shopping for toys, treats, and all the necessary items. I won't even say how much money I spent! Ever since that day Louie has been a spoiled rotten. He is a joy and I don't know what I would do without him!:p |
3 Attachment(s) Well here's my story to lol. I have been wanting a yorkie for 3 years and never had the money to get one. My mom said out of the blue one day lets get some yorkies my eyes welled up with tears and i started to cry. the next day i searched and searched i calles 21 people and all had just sold thier last puppy i was so dissapointed finally after a week of searching i found a lady who had puppies available but when i went to go see them i could tell right away they wern't going to live up to the standard for the breed and i really wanted a beautiful baby and these were very bad i was very dissapointed i waited and searched for 3 more days and when i was about to give up i saw an add for puppies but the drive was an hour and a half away i didn't think my mom would go that far for them but i was wrong! When we first walked in the door at the breeders we were greeted by the most beautiful yorkie i had ever seen and i thought this is my lucky day! when i first layed eyes on my peeka it was love at first sight and he loved me to he walked right up and bit me on the toe i flenched and then he kissed it better. we had to wait 2 weeks (the longest in my life) but then we drove up and got peeka and his brother boo.Peeka slept the whole way home on my shoulder and i love him so much i am so thankful to my mom for buying him for me and to all of you yt'ers for letting me post and tell my story what a great thread this is!! |

1 Attachment(s) wow! what a neat thread! i love reading everyone's stories. so here's mine: a family at my church has a teenaged daughter who is highly allergic to everything-at least that's how it seems. anyway, she was in the beginning stages of depression so her parents bought her a yorkie puppy (they heard they weren't bad on allergies?) it turned out that she couldn't keep the puppy b/c she was allergic to him, too. a few days before easter, the dad called me and said they wanted me to take tucker. i didn't want a dog-especially a little one- but i said i'd take him for the weekend and see. (i was having medical problems brought on mainly by stress and didn't want to add more stress) needless to say, after a weekend with this little guy, i just couldn't give him back. i'm glad now that they picked me. i've not had as many stress-related medical problems and i can't imagine life without him! he's my little miracle! :D here's a picture of tucker on easter weekend. |

Those are all so cute! I'm going to have to scan some of my early pics of Sadie. My mom took them all & took them from a regular camera, not a digital, so I need to scan them to send in! |
I love hearing all of these heartwarming stories!!! All of the babies are just so adorable, it makes me want to have a farm full of yorkies!!!! Keep the stories coming! |
