Badger Went to See The Queen Today!! Well - I wish, haha! But we did take him down to Green Park and St James Park (which are either side of Buckingham Palace) which are his favourite parks and we got some snaps of him on the rotunda outside the Palace. I had promised to do these for Des (Tigers Mom) ages ago because we had gotten so many compliments about his Go Fetch harness so sorry for the wait Des! There are quite a few so I will just do links of them and some are under-exposed so please excuse the quality. Enjoy! "I hope this isn't going to take long, mum 'cos I have things to see and sniff" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/58cee41f.jpg "Big gust of wind, mum!" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/a47f77a1.jpg "I'm bored now" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/9e895a44.jpg Badger in his Go Fetch harness! What a doll! We get so many admiring glances. When we were taking these shots literally about 15 people stopped to talk to him. It's a pain trying to take photos of a Yorkie in public! Haha! http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/8d176ea0.jpg "I think I can see the Queen mum! Oh no... wait... it's just someone's granny. Never mind" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/0b0a55a5.jpg Awww. Look at my beautiful boy. What a joy he is http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/7ba3cc2d.jpg "I'm soooooo bored! When are we going?!" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/a5e91bbc.jpg "Can I have an ice-cream?" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/63574aaa.jpg Badger, guarding the palace. (they should stop making the lion the Royal animal, and change it for a Yorkie instead ;) ) http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/15fa9746.jpg "Seriously, mum. I've had enough. When are we going?!?" http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/e2721258.jpg My cutie patootie! http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/66f8050f.jpg What a gorgeous baby boy http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c2...b/6af351be.jpg Okay Badger - that's it! You can go play now! Badger - "Oh thank goodness! It's a hard life being a Yorkie supermodel" |
:) Badger is a beautiful little boy, thank you so much for sharing your pictures with us, I really enjoyed them. :) ps. I'm always ready to see more pics of Badger's adventures in London. |
Wow he is so cute! How old is he? |
He was 21 weeks on Saturday. I just adore him. Apparently the Queen loves Yorkies so I'm sure she'd be very proud of him too ;) And don't worry Kenzies Grandma! I will be assailing this forum with more photos of him when I get his new harnesses from Des (there's a camouflage one coming that I can't WAIT for!) |

I see that it is sunny there :) . . it was cold and dreary and windy when I was there . . .:( |
Badger It looks like Badger had a wonderful day in Lonfon town...he is a royal fellow himself!! |
Thank you :) . He loves it round there and the Royal parks are gorgeous. St James Park is very ornamental and pretty and there are special rules for dogs there because all the ducks, swans and pretty much every living thing (including the squirrels which are considered vermin elsewhere) fall under a special Royal warrant. So if your dog attacks a duck or goose, you get two charges: one for having a dog out of control and the other for destruction of the Queen's game which is very serious and carries jail time. Green Park is much bigger and has great big open fields that have been especially designed so that they look like the English countryside - so lots of tall grass, big oak trees, daffodils and daisies. It's just wonderful and I feel safe enough there to leave him off lead. Watching him jumping through the long grass is the cutest thing ever Des, don't worry! Literally five minutes after taking these pictures, it came pouring down so we were lucky! Haha! |

I think that My husband's side of the family is from Wales~:) |
Thanks Teddy Bear! Your little Starsky is a cutie! Anadoodle... okay! That's interesting. My hubby's side are Welsh too. The name 'Quantock' sounds West Coast and very old to me. You can tell which are the old names and I've not heard that one before. I shoujld think it would have been one of the original pilgrim names or similar |
