Sniffer 3 Attachment(s) I was so excited about summer coming because I figured Eddie would start running more. But I got a rude surprise: All he does is sniff. We get to the park and he buries his nose in 1-square-foot of earth and just starts sniffing! There's nothing there. It drives me NUTS! Does anyone else have a sniffer? |
Oooooo, you realize Dad that there is somefing there... LOL You just can't see it... Darn humans, they don't know anyfing.. |
HAHA Simon is a sniffer too! Our walks take forever b/c he has to smell everything we come across :) Eddie looks very handsome! |
Rosi is a sniffer too, drives me nuts too, not only des she sniff she is a uprooter ! |
Lol, awww! |
baxter is the same way! he sniffs everything all the time. |
Sissy is a sniffer, too. If I let her be, we'd never get beyond our front yard! P.S. I love the photo (Eddie??) in your avatar of running with the stick. |
LOLOL!! Jasper was a sniffer! We could never take Jasper for walks without them taking too much time!! We called it taking Jasper for a DRAG because otherwise we couldn't get him to budge his nose from his spot!!!! lolol:p |
I found my males were more sniffers than my females and they had to pee on every twig they found!lol Cali likes to run then stop suddenly almost killing me! |
Both are sniffers but Abbie is much worse. She starts sniffing and digs her nose into the dirt. When I pull her away, there is no longer grass in the area and there's a little mud hole. |

As for sniffing, I just wish I knew WHAT he was sniffing. There's NOTHING there! |
I read somewhere that when you take a dog on a walk they sniff because it's like a road map of who has been where. It's like us sightseeing they scent see! |
That is tooo funny!!! I guess he likes all the smells!!!:p |
He's got such a manly Sniff to him ..How funny is that ...I love Eddie hes such a hunk . |
Oh i forgot to say Miss Mini is a sniff and Go girl ...lol |
I have a sniffer too but she's in another category. She's in more of the wind/air category rather than the ground category. While she does sniff the ground quite a bit(and I have proof early in the morning when the dew is still on the ground) she smells the wind/air a whole lot more. She just stands there like a bump on a log, nose out in front, smelling. What is she smelling? I don't smell anything. And she ignores you while she's smelling too, so whatever it is it must be important. They do look pretty though when the wind is blowing and they are standing there all pround looking with their coats blowing, just a smellin' |
Wow, Alaska, your camera takes amazing pictures! |
I love your pics!:) |

Glad to know Georgie isn't the only sniffer and stick eater in the bunch;) |
Great pics!!! Oscar is a sniffer! It takes him forever to pee sometimes! We live out in the country so there are a lot of critters that come and go in our yard at night, so next morning it is a buffet of new smells! |
