my TWO yorkies!!! 4 Attachment(s) As some of you know, I'm the proud mommy of a new rescue yorkie now named Bubba! Bunjee and I are thrilled to have a buddy to play with. Bubba is now realizing he gets to stay and can't give me enough yorkie kisses. Bunjee is now realizing the same thing and he doesn't know how to feel about that. But he's having fun running around chasing Bubba anyways. Bubba is very mild and loving. he loves to follow me around the condo and give me kisses whenever he can. even when bunjee barks at him, he'd rather take the high road than fight with bunjee. Bunjee loves to play with Bubba, but he gets a little jealous when Bubba and I exchange affections. that's definitely something to work on. But I have faith they'll be best buds soon enough! So chalk up to one successful rescue story thanks to YT members! |
Bubba is just so sweet and I'm sure he'll have the bestest, loving home! It's amazing how it all came together for you and Bunjee and Bubba. B&B are gonna have a blast together, they'll get into so much mischief, I can just sense it from these initial, innocent, and calm mug shots. ;p |
Bunjee and Bubba are adorable. Im so happy that is a happy rescue story. Nice pics. Thank you for sharing the pics. |
what a cutie Congrats to you and your baby bubba! I wish you the best with him...he is a cutiepie!!! ~Tru |
This is such a happy story and I am happy for all of you. Just remember rescue's have what we call a honeymood period where they are on their best behavior so don't be surprised if in a few weeks things change a little bit. You will work it out. Please feel free to ask me any questions if I can help. |
oh a few more pieces of info on bubba. he's a local rescue, saved from death row (i can't imagine why he's there to start!!). he's probably a little over 4 lbs right now and the condition of his teeth gives me the impression that he's between 1 to 2 years old. in true yorkie fashion, he's also picky about food. right now he's enjoying hand-me-up harnesses and clothing from bunjee. :D the picture shows him in one of bunjee's many harnesses. :D |

They look gorgeous together! How lovely to have a happy ending story for once! |
Congrats on the latest addition to your family:) I too am the proud owner of a rescue. I always said I never wanted a male dog in the house, figured it would be way too hard to house train! But when opportunity knocked and Gage needed a new forever, loving home, I could not let the fact that he was male stop me. We've had him for a year now and he has blossomed into such a character!! He is so affectionate and loving, loves to play with Gabby (although she still would rather have nothing to do with him - guess it's the age difference - she's 9 he's 1 1/2 years old), and adores running in the backyard outside chasing anything that moves! Your 2 "BB's" will have so much fun together:) I can't wait to read more of their stories! Suzi |
