My girls go COO COO for soy bacon!! Video!
 
I had two pieces of soy bacon left over from breakfast this morning. I am out of training treats and thought this would be good as it breaks up so easy into small pieces. FIRST I did my homework online, and did not find any info that said soy was WAY bad for pups. Only thing I could find was evidence it might make them toot and maybe loose bowels if they get a lot. My goal was to give ONLY a tiny bit, so I tried it. THEY WENT BONKERS!! My normally sedate Dreama was "GIMMEE GIMMEE" and Wosie could not concentrate on her tricks as she was NUTSY for the bacon!!!

I taught Wosie "around" the other day. Only took two tries!! She is soooo smart!!

Wosie, what a smart furbaby!!!!! and also Dreama. How long did it take Wosie to learn? I am so impressed!!!!!!

Oh my gosh Glad! That is so cute! They sure do love that stuff huh? Dreama and Wosie look so pretty!!! And you really have them trained well!

Wosie and I have been working with obedience training since the first day I got her home at 8 weeks, lol! One of the first things I did was make her sit and wait before she can eat her dinner. The next was sit and wait before going out an open door. I began training with treats and praise always, but she is at the point now where she will do lots of things without treats just because I ask her to. She loves me! :p :p

Dreama is a little tougher because she had no training whatsoever before we got her at 4 years old. But she now sits and waits for dinner, and before going outside. She's getting come down too, as you can see!

"Will you give that poor baby the treat already! You make her do all these tricks for one little treat!"

But does your mom know that too much soy bacon will make them FART??? :p Hence only ONE treat for multiple tricks!! :p Must be I am a GrandBitch TOO!! lololol :p

Glad, it doesn't matter what I give Baby, she still farts! :eek: And they're so stinky! Like mother, like daughter, like Grandbitch! :tongue030

Wow! Your girls ARE smart! I can't wait to see if you can teach MY old dog new tricks!!! Oscar WILL sit...but he is so stubborn...when he finally sits, he faces away from me like he is saying "o.k., I will sit, but I won't look at you!" These dogs can really be stubborn!!!

LOLOLOL :D I love that!! "....I won't look at you!" I will have Wosie work with him!!

Gosh, how can I possibly wait another MONTH to meet you guys??? It seems SO LONG!!! :(

Yeah, Oscar is a riot. He is so smart. I know he knows what I want him to do or he would not do it in the end. Just like putting on his harness and leash. He WANTS to go outside and he KNOWS that he has to get his clothes on before he goes. I will tell him "come here" and he just sits about 5 feet away and stares at me. I used to repeat "come here" over and over but now I tell him one time and then sit down and ignore him. He comes to me everytime now, but very reluctantly...I just don\'t know with him. He is just like a rebellious teenager right now! :eek:
