Maddie in her Onesie LuvMyPupster gave me the suggestion to put Maddie in a Onesie to keep her from licking her stitches! Great idea and it works...besides that...I think Maddie is darling in her Onesie. If you should get one for your baby...don't forget to unhook them and pull them up when taking them out to potty...LOL...I forgot once...good thing I got a pack of 4. |
2 Attachment(s) I goofed...hope it works this time! |
Omg That Can Not Get Any Cuter |
ah she looks cute in the onsies hope it works.good idea |
So sweet!!! How big is she? What size onesies did you get? Sebastian is about 8" and I would love to put him in onesies (I know you are using them to protect her stitches but I think it's adorable!!) |
Awww, Maddie is so cute! I might buy some onesies just for fun - they are adorable! :) |
k sorry if this is a stupid question, I can be alittle slow at times lol but thats a "baby" onesie right so did you have to cut out a spot for the tail to stick through and if so how did you do it? |
Thank you all! I think they are so cute, that Maddie will still wear her Onesies after she's healed. Everyone that's seen her in them thinks they are darling. My daughter's going to buy some for her boy yorkie. Sebastian's Mom...Maddie is about 10 1/2", 5 1/2 pounds and I got her a size 0-3 months in the Gerber brand. They came in a 4-pac at Walmart for $7 something. If Sebastian is 8", these may be a wee bit long for him...maybe the preemie size for him? They do stretch out a bit after putting them on and shrink up a bit in the wash. Onlyambs...yes...I did cut a hole for the tail. I just put it on Maddie, checked to where the hole should be and just pinched ahold of the material in that spot and cut the little pinch off. The hole will stretch so make it small to begin with... you can always cut it bigger if it needs it. I have washed these several times and the hole doesn't ravel, so really no need to reinforce it. One caution about these...when snapping the snaps, be sure to not snap any fur into them...they won't like their onesies if you do that. LOL |
That is the most adorable picture!!!!! What a wonderful idea I will have to remember that for when I take my lil girl in. |
Great tip and she is just too cute in her onesie! I'm going to buy some too! |
Just to cute............Cindy |

AWWWWWWWWWW!!!! That has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen |
That is such a sweet picture! Baby t-shirts will work too for the boys. I've put them on my boy Bentley before. I shop consignment shops for stuff like that and little blankies too and bassinet sheets to cover their bedding for easy washing. After all, the ARE babies :p |
Very cute idea! |
Such a cutie !! Great idea too! :p |
You are soooooooo clever!! And your baby is a total sweetheart!!! Thanks for sharing. :dog: lily and lily's mom |
Well I went to Walmart to get Sebastian some onesies and got the preemie size and they were way too big for him :( He would have looked soooo cute. Oh well, I may try some second hand stores for the t-shirt ones since they are preshrunk from washing. Maddie looks adorable :-) |
