We've had some wonderful weather lately, and the kids got their first ever trip to the beach! They wouldn't go near the water, but they had a blast running on the sand and smelling all the funky beach smells!!

Your babies are beautiful. Gorgeous faces! And they look like they're having such fun. My little Badger had his first ever trip to the seaside this weekend and he loved it. We didn't think he'd like the pebbly beach but he was all over it, nose right to the ground, sniffing away. He didn't like getting his paws wet that much but he loved the seaweed and all the other smells. I wish I'd taken pics. Thanks for sharing yours. Looks like a lovely day! :)

Great pics Sherry Lynn! Looks like they had a blast running on the beach!

We went downtown to Reedy River Falls park after lunch yesterday along with most everybody else in Greenville!! Have you been home since they finished the pedestrian bridge? It is beautiful! I posted some pics here

I bet it was so much fun watchin them smell the smells - Chanel has been to Galveston and loved it...I need to go back and take Cheri...You are making me miss the beach so much with these pictures....

They are awesome ..i love the beach and Miss it to i live near water but not the beaches like the ones on lake Erie ,where I grew up ,Miss mini loves walks of any kind so we are happy to at least see water .Your babies look like they loved it and how nice for them to get that fresh air and fish smells haha ..i bet they dont mind at all . :coolpics: :tongue012 fish ewww

What beach do you take them to? Tucker loved the beach when we went last summer but he could only go up at night. Are dogs actually allowed where you go or do you just take them?

This was in Long Branch. We had brunch at the McLoone's Pier House and went for a walk afterwards.

Teri, you can take them off season on most of the beaches. And on Sandy Hook you can take them on the ocean side between Labor Day and March 15 (birds nest in the dunes starting then) to run and play. On the bay side, you can take them all year long. There is also a dog park on the bay in Manasquan where the dogs can go all year long.

Dempsey, my wild Sheltie, loves to go and play in the water and dig in anything stinky that he can find. The other 2 aren't crazy about going in the water but will get their feet wet. The Yorks didn't want anything to do with even walking on the wet sand... I'm okay with that! I guess the big waves would be pretty scary when your so small!
