Molly's "'ear" to show ya something.. 1 Attachment(s) Pardon my bad sense of humour (title)! Molly's ears are still floppy, which is so cute but when she looks up at me her ears flop back and it just makes me melt all the time! So adorable. I took this two mins ago so it's the most recent. She's gone so much blonder on her face. Oh! And does anyone know why she's going grey?! LOL. Her roots and all on the top of her head are completely grey, I hope it looks alright in the end when all the black disappears. Does anyone else have a Yorkie that went grey? I'd love to know what it fully looks like. :) Thanks. Enjoy her innocent face! |
I think the gray will tutrn to a very silvery tan eventually. I'm noticing some silver on Ollies heard too. Don't you just love the way they change color and each one is a little different coloring. It makes yorkies so unique. |
She is presious and for the grey, she will turned many colors many times. My Lexi has gone grey to tan to grey to tan.... I don't think it stops til they are around 18 months - 2 years old. |
It was quite funny today aswell.. on Monday I let go of her lead in the field just over my fence and she just followed me everywhere, never went 3 foot away from me and always came back if she was going somewhere I didnt want her to go. (this is probably because she follows you everywhere in the house so she can't see the difference). Anyhow, she's only met about 4 dogs and she has always been very, VERY shy.. she used to hide behind me. But today we saw this woman and man walking 4 big rottweilers and 2 whippets and I picked her up (because they were all off the lead and I've heard SO many stories so I'm always careful..) just incase they weren't friendly. I asked the womanif they were all friendly and she said yes but didn't seem so sure, so I held her still whilst I studied their behavoiur and she was BARKING and GROWLING at them! My little Molly was getting all brave with rottweilers! Anyway, after a bit I put her down but held the lead (I keep it on for easy access, it takes ages to clip the lead back on the harness, I can just grab it), they all ran over, all 6 of them, and sniffed her and stuff and she seemed all confident. I let go of the lead because they seemed quite nice and she began chasing a whippet who wasn't really interested in her and walking through all the rottweilers legs! I must admit my heart was hammering, still worried, but they were fine. She didn't really get to play with them because they went after about 3 minutes. It amazes me how unintimdated they are by their size. (Yorkies).. |
Ahhh right, okay. Thanks for the help. :D |
Haha You are a lot braver than I would have been haha :) |
It can take up to 2 years for their adult colors to fully come in. Gracie was silver on top of her head till she was around 1 1/2 yrs. Then it turned blonde. |

Yes me too. It only take one big playfull paw to break one of those tiny bones. Even if they are friendly they can hurt them so quickly. My daughters big chocolate lab, wanted to play with Ollie. She was runing and screamuing, He didn't hurt her. but he sure could have if she hadn't been so quick. I almost had a heart attack. |
What a sweet picture of Molly! :luvu: |
She is gorgeous :D |
She's so cute - Cheri did that skunk hair thing too....that just means she'll probably be more blond on her head - it looks grey but will be a pretty gold....She's adorable !! |
Hahahahq!!! How cute is she!!!! |
I think she is very cute! |
