Here's Nika at 4 weeks
3 Attachment(s) We made a trip to Colville last week to visit Nika and found out she nearly did not make it. Mommy's milk dried out during the night and so she nearly died from dehydration. But she looks like she is a fighter and a survivor as she was able to pull through it all along with her bigger sister. Unfortunately, 2 puppies did not survive :( .
The vet gave the mommy somthing so she is now producing milk again but they are feeding Nika additional milk through a syringe just to make sure she gets enough. She is doing much better when we saw her and although her face is full of dried milk, you can tell she will be one gorgeous yorkie.
Tiger did well bonding with Nika. He must realize how fragile she is so he was well behaved. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I cannot wait for her to come home but the breeder will release her at about 15 weeks :eek: :eek: that's like a lifetime of waiting! |
