Can anyone tell me what type of dog My bella looks like now 2 Attachment(s) I have been searching and searching for a mix breed that is a yorkie/pom but everyone that i come across doesn't look anything like Bella. I am getting some what scared now because i am afraid the girl i bought bella off of lied. I never seen the parents she(breeder) told me her dogs would get to upset and she had them locked in a room. I was told when i bought her that she was yorkie/pom now i have family saying she looks more Pap or a long haired Chihuahua. I would really like it if some of the breeders could help me out. I know now to never trust and always see the parents before i leave. I feel my baby has an identity crisis. or maybe it's just me, but i would love to know. My vet says she looks more pom and see nothing of yorkie and he can't put his finger on what the other part of her is. She is so tiny around 4 to 5 pounds and the sweetest little girl i could ask for. So any help would be great thanks Angie |
Looks like a long haired chi to me... With maybe Yorkie.. |
I have no idea but I do know that she is adorable. |
1 Attachment(s) She looks like she could be a Yorkie/Pom cross to me! For sure! Two mixed breed dogs never look exactly alike. for example, these are all Yorkie/Maltese mixes FROM THE SAME LITTER!!: |
mix When you mix the breeds you do not get ONE look...there is NO type set. I have seen dozens of Pom/Yorkie mixes..some are the color of an orange Pom, while others are black like a Yorkie. Poms come in many colors..so it will depend on the color genes. I saw a Yorkie/Poodle that was various shades of grey, darker at the tips and lighter near the body...I groomed him for years..well, when he died the owner wanted another YorkiePoo...never found that color again. |
She IS cute and has the Papillion look to her but who knows ? I think she's adorable too...gorgeous ears ! |

3 Attachment(s) Here's some black Poms :) I can def see the resemblance |
Thank you  Thank you all so vey much, I was starting to go crasy not knowing. And yes that is so true with mixed breeds i per say have never owned a PB i have always owned mutts or designer dogs. I now see the pom in her from your black pom but i don't see the yorkie maybe she has more pom in her than yorkie. All your pups are so ppresious and soooo cute thank you for sharing with me and thanks for letting me know. :) |
I think she is sooooo cute, and I can totally see the yorkie and the pom in her.... |
I can see the yorkie in her. Yorkie/Pom is definitely possible although her tiny size makes me think yorkie/chi. Is she a puppy? If so she may still change quite a bit. She's very adorable though. Why be worried about what she is? When people ask you what she is just tell them she's 'one of a kind!' |

LOL she is one of a kind and so very speical, Bella is now 7.1/2 months or 30 weeks old and is very tiny when i got her she was 1 pound so very cute. Size xs was to big on her and now they fit good, She is in between a xs and a sm in clothes. My two cats are bigger than she is, i think thats why they don't mind her around lol. Thanks again and i hope she doesn't change that much she is purfect as she is right now. Angie :aimeeyork |
I see a yorkie body & colors and the head looks like Pom or Longhaired Chihuahua to me.. She is a very pretty looking princess! How old is she? Genie,Cookie & Lola |
WhatEVER she is, she is just too cute for words!! I couldn't guess what breeds she has in her background, but I do know that I love her look. Her cute little face almost looks like a fox (but I'm sure there is no fox in her) |
