Hey Mike and family! I'm not on very much and don't know the back story to all this but I do know that you have brought a lot of joy to this board with your stories and your pix of the pups. Are you feelin' the love??? You totally deserve it. Take care of your boys.

Jack looks like he's in 7th Heaven! He must be just thrilled with all his new things! I'm sure he wouldn't mind sharing some of it with Eddie!

Yeah, these are Alaskan Huskies, which have been bred for speed and endurance. Most people expect to see Siberian Huskies, which are considerably larger and considerably slower. Siberians actually have a problem with getting too warm in long races like Iditarod.

But, yes, believe it or not, some of these dogs do wear coats in extreme cold, and many of them wear them at night. I was heartened to hear that, actually. Huskies wear coats, too! Just not pink ones with hoodies.

I'm sure somewhere in this big world there is a Huskie with a pink hoodie coat!

BTW - Shouldn't Jack and Eddie be at the front of that pack? They are the Kings of Alaska after all!

I don't know about the deserve part -- we had a lot of encouragement to do the right thing -- but you're right about the feeling the love part!

Yes, it will hold me over- I just went and saw 8 BELOW, the movie, last weekend. I loved it and I love the pic of the Iditarod dogs!!!!!

I've already admitted to initially missing the fact that all these toys came in a hand-made toybox and having to be told by my wife that, yes, they came in a very cool toybox. But when I saw Michele's pictures on this thread, my jaw dropped. I NEVER saw the paintings of Jack and Eddie. I'm at work, so
I e-mailed Michele's pic to Kelly and then called and asked her to check the box. Somehow, she had missed it too!

I know, I know, you're all thinking: These people are idiots. But there really is an explanation.

Package came around noon, and Kelly and I tore into it like pair of junkyard dogs on a filet mignon. Jack dived in. Eddie dived on Jack. I took pix. Kelly gathered box in a hurry and hid from Eddie. By 2, I was off to work till 1 a.m. this morning. Went right to bed. Woke up after 6 hours sleep and watched the Iditarod start. Raced to work. Saw Michele's pictures and DIED.

Anyhow, here's proof that we now finally have everything you guys sent. Well, I think we've found everything. I'm gonna go home tonight and reinventory.

Anyhow, thanks again, if possible, even more. Michele, you are even more amazing than I thought.

No problem LOL. Tell Kelly "You're welcome!" It looks like she's saying "Thank You" She sure is a sweet Momma for those boys. You would have seen it eventually. LOL AY you are really a funny guy! You always make me laugh!!

Mike and Kelly: You both are so very deserving of all these special gifts which many of us helped contribute to. This has been coming for several weeks.

We've all been waiting to hear the "word" that you had actually received the "box"!

Jack has hit the jackpot in becoming a part of your family. You both are very special to have taken Jack in and to make sure he received the necessary surgery. Not everyone would have done that but you did.

You and Kelly have big hearts and all the hearts of YT glow for all of you.

Wow what a relief that you finally received it, I was so anxious. I hope they are both having fun with their toys and things. I am sure that Jack will share with his brother. Here is a pic of Jack with his new blankie.

I am not here much anymore but I am so glad to see that Jack and his wonderful new family have a yet another blessing. Michelle you done a great job for a very deserving little guy, Thanks for your efforts. :D
