I took pictures of my poor girl since so many here were wishing her the best and concerned. She looks better on camera because my poor girl is so down right now.I took pictures of her incision and all the teeth she got pulled (they were quite a few). Her insicion is bigger than I anticipated. :thumbup:

Here are few more. By the way my bed is hers right now and I will sleep in hers for aslong as she is feeling poopy. :animal36

Get her a wee bit of exercise, mom. Just a little walk on the bed or something so she can begin to blow off the anes..And the hangover. You know she was not supposed to drink those fruity things with the umbrellas in them right before or right after surgery..LOL

Wow, your poor girl is beautiful even while she's in recovering. I'm glad all seems to have gone well. These little guys are incredibly resilient. She will be back to normal in no time.

And don't worry about the teeth. My little one has one canine left and very few others, but he eats hard food just fine.

I am a yorkie DAD. I don't get offended if I get called mom but us DAD can worry just as much. Again DAD. :thumbup:

Yeah, the pulled quite a few baby teeth but she still has all others. I am feeding her soft canned food right now,first time since I got her, but she better not get used to it cause as soon as I feel her teeth don't hurt no more she will be back on kibble. I keep her in full coat and the her on her mussle gets all stiff with the wet food which is why I don't feed or like it. :animal36

I hear you, chechinmipo! I get it all the time!It's blatant sexism. They just assume all Yorkie-lovers MUST BE women. Guys can love Yorkies too.

Apologize for my fellow gal. :) But, you're right, guys can love yorkies, sometimes even better than us gals.

Aggie LOVES her dad! They'd chase each other in the house. He'd lie on the floor while she's chasing his hands. He spoils her rotten! Gives her extra treats/biscuits while I'm not looking.

Chechinmipo, I hope your baby's doing much better! I'm anxious for Aggie's in about a month or so...*sigh*.

that incision IS pretty big....and so are those teeth ! That's the first time I've seen what they pull out and wow - they really are long aren't they ?

Baxter says hello Ruby and he sends a big ol smootch her way to make her feel better. I am glad everthing went well for her. It is hard to see our babys hurt, but she looks great, even after all that. I am sure she is hating the extra attention. I had a cat declawed once, and I felt awful cause it would crawl around holding its paws up like it hurt terrible. And I am sure it did for a time, but then one day i peeked around the corner and she him running until he saw me and then he was back crawling with his paws up. :) You are a great Dad.

She is such a pretty girl - even under the weather. You'll be surprised at how fast they bounce back. After a couple of days we had a hard time keeping Punkin from jumping and tearing around the house.

I hope Rubycake gets well soon. Just a thought, Maybe you shouldnt give her moist food,Just wet down her kibble to soften it. Once they have the moist food they dont want their dry food . Peanut will be having his surgery next month!!!!Not going to like this.....Sending hugs and Kisses your way :)

My husband is a wonderful Yorkie dad, too. When we brought our Lillie home at 7 weeks, her first night home she woke us up crying in the middle of the night and he got up and slept with her on the couch all night. She's slept with us since. When she got spayed, we picked her up that afternoon at the vet and they said she wouldn't eat. He held her all night and hand fed her bits of filet mignon. I think he's a better dad than I am a mom.

It is so awful to see her so sad. :( But I am sure she will be back to her adorable, perky old self in no time. Ruby girl, you are an inspiration to us all. I wish I looked that good after surgery ;)

SHe is so cute! Even while being in pain! Gizmo also had to have 8 teeth removed a few weeks ago. I felt so bad for him.
